Green and faurlin are exempt anyway as they aren't injuries that arent down to training. Besides he doesn't have to sign players for it to be his fault, the lack of a sports scientist and lots of muscle tears clearly point to bad training and conditioning.
You pick out hart but I'd take LDC, Dowie, Sousa and magilton from that era over Hughes and redknapp. So redknapp is the second worse manager we've had in recent years, hardly a glowing recommendation.
Redknapp Didn't choose either Zamora or Johnson, did we really have an option to get rid on the contracts they had, not Harrys Fault, Beards. The reason I see for loans is that we can't afford to sign young 'quality' players, plus the added factor that not many seem to want to come presently, and if we had rebuilt from the grass roots then we could have got flushed down in the process. I don't like it anymore than you do Flyer, but I do understand it now, the rebuild option sounds great, but what what if we're **** at that too? This season is a gamble, I said we act like a drunk in vegas casino, and we do. Ask yourself though, who wouldn't, say 3am pissed and loaded with a wad of other peoples cash, so thick you could club seal to death with it, think that AJ & Zamora are not a bargin at a total cost of somewhere near 12m. Answer is fresh owners with too much cash and not enough sense. Did Harry Sign the lot that went out on loan because they may or may not have had a release clause? We are in a mess but Harry didn't cause or place any recruiting restrictions on himself. Beard & Tony did that. Of the players recruited by Harry 4 of the best broke down, Who said don't sign Philips, Austin, Simpson? I thought they looked ok. God I really don't want to defend Harry after last night, but even after the crappest day at work in memory I'm still can't critise a man for the mistakes of others. Just remember if Tony busts the club, I'll find him and I'll **** in his slippers.
Funny how the 3 you listed were in their mid 20s and are the best ones yet redknapp signs players in their 30s who are failures. Those three were the ones I were happy with. The rebuild will fail if redknapp is in charge, in fact that thought is frightening. So we have to go with a new guy who may or may not fail. Having a chance of succeeding is better than having zero chance of succeeding. 15 new players and 12 of those will be donkeys in their 30s going by redknapps current success rate. Mind you, do spurs and whu have any more old rejects to sell to us? Redknapp had more backing than any other manager in this league, he had free reign to sign whoever he wanted and he failed miserably. Looking at that record, its only fair TF tightened up the purse strings in Jan after redknapp threw millions down the toilet.
But who would of come to us before we went on the run? No one new if we would be any good, I predicted relegation so on reflection 4th looks about right. Harry wasn't tasked with a rebuild, He's emergency surgery, nothing more. Ask yourself this, who at the club is capable of finding & hiring a decent young manager? Tony, Beard, Jude? Anyway its not the injury that bother its the application on pitch, if they can't care more about their performance I'm not sure how much I care about their poor hammys. That I'll agree Harrys needs to sort.
Beard and TF wouldn't know a decent manager if one crawled out of their arse. We need a dof or a football man involved in making those decisons, in fact a dof might lead to redknapp resigning.
Yes we do. All the Fans know, which leads me to leap to a reasonable but totally unfounded assumption that Tony is not in total control he's just a front. Who are the real "powers that be" and why does nobody care? magpie syndrome, its bright and shiney so it must be gold. There's so much more to get annoyed about, just take a Harry sabbatical before you bust a blood vessel. Here:
I did see the point, you picked on a manager who was only there for 5 games and every other manager around then was better than TFs choices. I don't care about names, no one knew who LDC was when he took over but he was miles better than the last two twats. Two managers widely disliked by fans and hated by me even before they took over so no, I wouldn't have believed theyd want to come to our club and I wouldn't have wanted them even then. They only came for the huge money they are on, its hardly a glowing recommendation of how we are run, you might as well try to make the same point with boswanka. Now if Ive missed the point again, make your posts clearer.
Ok forgetting what you personally think of Hughes and rednapp, did we think we could attract managers of their calibre/ name ! Most would so no. They have not been successful but it shows what TF is trying to do. He admits he has made mistakes but they are with hindsight. You may have a crystal ball but all he has tried to do is back the people he has hired and build a club for now and the future. I share his ambition and dream and rather him than any if the previous owners we have had, excluding bhatia
I dont think we can attract John Terry to the club now, it doesnt mean Id be happy to have him here in a years time. The managers only cam because we paid world class wages, Redknapp gets more than the Spain manager. ITs got nothing to do with attracting good players or managers, we pay stupid money which only attracts mercenaries, theyd play non league if you offered 60k a week. Do you think qatar or dubai is a good league or an attractive place to play? we are no different to that.
ITs not ambition throwing world class wages at worse than average players/managers. You are confusing ambition with stupidity. Id say we were ambitious if we had 15 remys, austins etc and not 15 oneills, zamoras, swps etc.
