Nice video of the rebuild of the BMW BT52 in which Nelson Piquet won the 1983 WDC and Ricardo Patrese mostly broke down. The engine is a turbo so because of that the sound is more similar to this season's new cars than the high pitch scream we associate with F1 now, so it hasn't always been that way, it produced 850bhp, massive.

 

Malaysian GP on Sun. I've made a couple of driver changes, took Vergne and Raikkonen out

 

Not done anything yet. Waiting for practice to see what happens

It's only practice, but practice suggests Red Bull have closed the gap on the Mercs a little bit.

Qualifying for Malaysian GP delayed until 8.45 am due to torrential rain. The track is drenched but the rain is easing off now and it dries quickly.
