  1. I think that's just normal conversation; one says something so the other responds with something against what the first said. If we all agreed this place wouldn't be much fun would it? <laugh>

PS...I am starting to assume by negativity, you mean the ones that pick fault despite winning 6-0 rather than the likes of me "having a feeling"...?

Not everything is about you, honest. <laugh>

Yeah, some people are incorrigibly negative, it seems.
I know it's like a normal conversation, that's why I'm sticking my oar in.
All I was saying is that we don't need to be told that complacency is bad, or that anything can happen, because we all know that and shouldn't have to preface our every post with it.

As for the "bad feeling" stuff, it became a running gag, but before that it kept cropping up and I did point out that it seemed more appropriate to our past, more dodgy performances rather than our current team, with the form they're in.

    Mustn't get too complacent though.......

  3. I think a lot of people post on here to vent their own feelings more than to join into a conversation. Maybe by saying the complacency / bad feeling things it makes them feel better?

And of course its about me <laugh>

    Cardiff:

    -------------Marshall------------
    --John---Turner---Caulker---Fabio
    --------------Medel--------------
    --Noone--Mutch-----Kim---Campbell
    -------------Jones---------------

    Weaknesses:
    - second leakiest defence in the league (let in 52)
    - second least proficient attack in the league (scored only 23)
    - Turner is slow as ****
    - Declan John who?
    - Noone, Mutch, Jones are work horses
    - Medel is usually left with too much to do on his own in DM

    Strengths:
    - Marshall
    - Kim

In all seriousness, I do believe the danger for us in this game is to take our foot off the gas after two really big away games, thinking that this one is a bit of a breather.
However, BR seems to be doing a good job of motivating the players lately, and that coupled with being genuinely in sight of the top should be all they need to ensure they keep up the work-rate.

Their right side is weak indeed. In addition to having noone there, they also have a nobody at FB and a slow turner at CB-R...

Yep this is my concern as well. We've seen it happen all too often (including earlier on this season).

Also, Cardiff will be scrapping but if we stick to our game plan then we should win. After all, we have the best attack in the world ;)

Nothing but a win will do... It's both exciting and terrifying.

Cardiff are seriously poor apart from Caulker + Medel.

Haha, let me help you out here - cos that's a way out.

    1) Nothing wrong with your first two points - we concede and we can't seem to take our chance. A frustration I don't imagine you Pool fans have had for a while with Suraez and Sturridge.
    2) Turner may be slow as **** but Cala and Caulker arn't. If we play Ben will be playing three at the back which has been working well away from home - frustrating Spurs and Everton.
    3) Declan John is only 18 and will has the potential to be quality left back. Much better than Andrew Taylor who got destroyed by Sterling up at Anfield in December
    4) Forget about Kim he hasn't lived up to his Championship form despite having a lot more space. If we get anything from this match it will be because Marshall has had a blinder again.

Don't know what you guys are worrying about <laugh> Here's to Liverpool having a similar game as they did against Hull at the KC.... <cheers>

Cheers fella, Marshall has been brilliant all season we'll have to take our chances that's a certainty.

We're not gonna turn up like at Hull, bs, no way.

At Hull, we had a slow Gerrard-Lucas combo in CM, Moses and no Sturridge, no Allen, no Coutinho til late in the game, and Kolo... pounding the ground with his knuckles more than his toes.

Capitulate now with a kind 0-2, and don't make fools of yourselves.

None of that 0-2 nonsense now.
    I want 5 at least.

well all i ask for is positivism and SAS forcing cardiff to defend deep as that play off the shoulder. If cardiff don't have any real pace to trouble us up front then we will play higher too and so gaps between players will be less.

I'll take a sloppy 1-0. I'd like a 2-0 after ten mins and controlled performance to deliver 4-0.

If we've bad luck 4-3 will be fine but i can't take many more of those this year

TBH I'm hoping for Suarez to emerge from his mini-drought (2 goals in 7?) and just destroy Cardiff

We can't really make a fool of ourselves against you. Against Fulham, West Brom, Hull and Sunderland, yes but not against a quality team who are top of the form table and 2nd in the league.

Capitulate? <laugh> I'd take any result as long as the lads put in the same amount of fight as they have the past three games. <ok>

You've played well against the bigger clubs so I don't see this as easy, if we take it seriously concentrate and play like we are capable of then yes I can see a win but it will be hard fought.
