That's a good shout, we could do a lot worse. <laugh>

Would be interesting to see the job advert MA would put out for a New Manager.

Moyes spent over TEN YEARS at Everton and won nothing. His tactics were always negative away from home... even on the very rare occasions Everton got into Europe. I couldn't believe SAF put him forward ahead of anyone frankly. I reckon Ferguson was protecting his own legacy! <whistle>

    <doh>

Jose Mourinho is the best Manager in the world. I suppose he had "unlimited resources" at Porto?

He brings all the players together, not just as a team, but as a squad.

His record is unquestionable. Although i'm sure you're going to give it a good go! :)

Would tell Mike to go **** himself. The tension with Swansea all began in the summer due to a perceived lack of support. He knows what all managers know, you need money for genuine progression or a fantastic youth system (which takes years to build). We have neither. You'd be looking at someone like Ian Holloway under Ashley at best <laugh> Which would be funny to be fair.

I vote Ollie with Chris Kamara as assistant, might aswell have a laugh.

I wouldn't mind Michael. Unfortnately another Michael (nickname Mike), couldn't have some fancy dan dane rocking up at his door when he's just roofied Derek ready for action, asking for loads of money to make sure the balance is right in the squad to try and progress from 9th place.

Couple to cheer you up as I know how much you like Putin:

To commemorate World War One in 2014:

The French - Are erecting a statue in each village

The Germans - Are lowering their flags each day

The British - Are having a season of programmes on the BBC

The Russians - Cordially invite you to World War 3 commencing in the Ukraine

I had a great time at the Winter Olympics in Sochi and had the honour of playing poker with the one and only Vladimir Putin.

You should have seen his ****ing face when I beat him with a pair of queens.

Completely forgot one of the more obvious choices of coach/manager to replace the irreplaceable.
    From The Mirror.

Holland boss Louis van Gaal says he wants to manage in England and win the Premier League

The 62-year-old will leave his current position at the end of this summer's World Cup and has been linked with Newcastle United.

Aims: Van Gaal may retire if he doesn't get a job in England

Louis van Gaal said he wants to win the Premier League - or he will retire.

The Holland manager, 62, will be available after the World Cup.

He has won the title in Holland, Spain and Germany.

And now van Gaal has advertised his availability to English clubs to German newspaper Bild.

"My ambition is to coach a top team in the Premier League," he said.

"I have never experienced the atmosphere in England.

"I want to win the league title in a fourth country. That's my objective and I want to fulfil it.

"Either that, or I will retire and move with my wife to Portugal.

"Of course, I like the Bundesliga a lot, but I have already won the German title. I now want to win a major trophy in another country."

Van Gaal previously won the Dutch title with Ajax and AZ, La Liga with Barcelona and the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich.

I suppose we could give him a six month trial.

Of course, it all adds up. Used to managing top sides in Europe. Used to having loadsa of money to spend. Used to having a great youth system to work with. Wants to win the PL. That's us in a nutshell.

On a more serious note I reckon he would cause mayhem in the PL. He has an arrogance about him. I just see a a guy who would end up in a manager v player situ pretty quick. Player power here is a different level to the continent. That said his record does command respect.
