Spoke to my mate this morning. He was staying at the Mecure hotel in Sheffield last night as I believe the team or at least Arry was. He had a chat with Arry and told me that he said he had no intention of resigning / retiring and was 'angry that he wasn't allowed to spend more money in the last window' No reason for my mate to make it up
There are grounds for optimism though. Our recent form, results wise, has been top-two form if you take the old "win at home and draw away" average that wins you automatic promotion from this league. Our last 4 games has seen us play thrice away and once at home which would mean you'd be looking for six points. And we got them. Five home and five away left with a nice cushion from 7th and we can qualify for the Playoffs with ease. We'll then have Austin Powers back and remember, this is QPR; We're so unpredictable all down the years, write us off in that Competition at your peril. Yeah Baby
Typical redknapp, its always someone else's fault. The greedy bastard will hang on until he's sacked because he's got no honour. Sack him now Tony, please.
You started drinking for the rugby, carried on through St Pat's day and are still on the bottle now Swords?
We can still do it Tooting. We'll make the Playoffs and have roughly the same chance as the other three of winning them (around one in four.... fao Staines ). Allardyce did it a couple of years ago with a dreadful West Ham side. Seriously mate, I wouldn't write this team off just yet.
The win at home and draw away form you need to get into the top two would have meant that out of our last five games, four of which were away, we'd have been happy to collect 7 points. How many did we get? Nine. I think the negativity hit fever pitch this week and it went into overdrive with you know who as the ringleader. We're in a strong position and headed for the Playoffs when at the start of the season a lot of Geezers felt we could go down again. We're still well in the hunt for promotion to the Promised Land. Write us off at your peril. We are QPR
