    I'm happy as a Frenchman who's invented a pair of self-removing trousers.

And all done without the help of RD's eurotrash imports. Obika is not great but he is worth more than all six of them together.

Really pleased for Dervite one of the stalwarts and Obika usually makes a difference.

We were worse than dreadful till Obika came on he made the difference second half we were a different team but deserved it in the end .
Defence superb as usual and Poyet head and shoulders above the rest of those on the pitch from both sides.

Wonderful win, sheer joy at the Valley. And great to see players, first Jacko, then Hamer, doing tunnel jumps. Glad to see Dervite getting the winner, poor marking by Kermit but great header. Dervite has been steadily becoming a very reliable defender and now a match-winner.

Agree totally. Poyet doesn't look like a player who wants to leave, there must still be hope.

    Beautiful night at The Valley.

First 30 minutes were poor, but we dug in and the tide turned when Obika entered the fray.

For the remaining 60 minutes, we were superb: probing, working tirelessly, breaking quick, and always looking to attack. We wore them down with our relentless energy and it was only a matter of time before we scored.

Hamer 7 - Spilled a couple, but was dominant with crosses and corners
Wiggins 8 - Tackled hard, worked the wing all night, and linked well with Obika
    Morro 8 - Rock solid
Dervite 8 - Passed the ball out, commanding in the air and scored the winner
Wilson 7 - Same as Wiggins, but could have done better with a few crosses
Harriott 6 - Worked hard until the injury
Poyet 8 - Great vision and poise, but could have taken a few shots instead of sideway passes
Cousins 8 - Covered every blade of grass and did everything well
Jackson 9 - Captain Wonderful, looks revitalised under Riga
Green 6 - Some good crosses, some dreadful crosses, but worked hard
Church 6 - Grafted and made a nuisance of himself, but not much else

Obika 8 - Played on the left of a front three and terrified the life out of the Cherries with his pace, strength and skill
Sordell 7 - Good running and ball retention and looked comfortable out wide on the right

Terrific atmosphere - no Powell songs - plenty of support for Riga - fine reception for Kermit - good turnout from Bournemouth - got a really sore throat now - overjoyed - confident of a result on Saturday - will be smiling for the foreseeable - COYR!

As has been mentioned, Obika was decent, strength and pace, a defender's nightmare. Church really should have scored, Green's incredibly frustrating, the freekick that he skied was typical of him, should have crossed.

Riga did well with the substitutions, the sub Powell would have done was Sordell for Wilson, 3 at the back and we get caught on the counter. Not scoring many but conceding fewer at the moment, I'll take that until May

Marvellous read once the winner scored ! ;)

I hope we stay up, you never know which way the wind may blow, and who we recruit in the off season.

I'm stoked. Let's make this a winning run gents.
