Who do you think the debt is owed to.I believe last years profit for Allam Marine was around £22 million, and,as you say,the clubs assets are probably worth around that.He would have to sacrifice 3,maybe 4 years profit to walk.I really can't see him doing that, and if he did I would imagine the family would try to get him sectioned sharpish.

Well said. The same FA who have just decided to charge Boyd for spitting, when he didn't, at Hart who has also said he didn't during an incident the ref had dealt with.

The good doctor has just described the FA in the way that the majority of fans see them and nicely summarised there by Hattie.

I doubt your numbers add up to a profitable withdrawal. How much have you factored in for the sale of a club heading for certain back to the Championship. Getting rid of all of the players in one go would be very difficult. Look at Portsmouth. They were stuck with high earning players they couldn't sell.

Oh God, still it goes on.

Give it up Assem. Concentrate on building some bridges with fans and the Council instead.

I hadn't mate, but it wouldn't be much & I never said it would be a profitable withdrawal, I was merely answering the question as to how he could take his money out. He'd never recoup the full investment imo, but he'd get far more back than if he was trying to sell a club worth £40-50m with a debt of £90m.

Selling the intangible assets i.e. players, is a double whammy, as it generates capital from the sale, but also for every £20k per week he can get off the wage bill that's £1m per annum he could use to pay down debt from the TV revenue, which is a guaranteed £60m+.

if he sells without any pressure he may get a half his money back
if he tries to do anything silly like liquidate assets - ie players - then he'll get a lot less and nobody will buy at any stage because he's created a lot of problems
the most sensible thing to do is to shut up, accept the FAs decision, and sell at a time of his own choosing

i accept Allam has a debt incurred of around £90 million , but i thought a good £40+ million of that was a "gift" to the community when he paid off immediate debts on purchasing the club .
So who or what exactly funded HIS "gift" - coz im looking at my christmas prezzie and fear i might have to pay for it myself at some point

Football finance expert says "Allam won't walk away"

A leading expert on football finance believes Hull City owner Assem Allam won't walk away if - as expected - the FA rejects his bid to rebrand the club as Hull Tigers.

Ahead of an FA Council vote on April 9, the FA's Membership Committee yesterday recommended turning down his application.

Mr Allam, who's invested more than £70m in the club, says the rebranding is essential to maximise commercial opportunites, and he's repeated his pledge to sell up if he's not allowed to change its name.

But Rob Wilson - a leading football finance expert at Sheffield Hallam University - told Calendar's Sports Correspondent John Shires that he doesn't believe Mr Allam will quit.

So why have you started from the wrong place with the campaign bulletins? Don't just mention it in despatched to the FA, tell the world and his brother what a baseless liar this man is. Arguing against his lie gave it substance, exposing the truth and arguing against that would have cut all of this nonsense out.

Anyone who thought this would go away was being seriously delusional; just as all of the bullshit about selling the club and being clever about how it can or can't be done is delusional. Allam will not be prepared to lose one single penny on this club, but he will make it a laughingstock.

There's only one way to deal with a liar and a fraud and that is to expose them at the earliest opportunity.

...and that would have such a positive impact on any potential buyer.

We are a newly promoted team and have no guarantee of Premier League football this season or next season. A number of clubs below us have a few years of being in this league under the belt. For the next 4 or 5 years survival is worth over a hundred million pounds. He could take maybe £20 to £40 million out and send the club into the Championship but why would he? Because the FA said no to Hull Tigers? Really! Would you want somebody who was prepared to do that because he couldn't get his own way running your club?

Expose them with what? It's nothing more than subjective opinion and supposition.

Well if he actually carried it out, of course not & I've never said or intimated otherwise.

For the last time, I was merely answering a question posed.
