Reading the story on the BHA site, it looks to me that he isn't as well as it had been suggested. I know connections are right to be nervous in the run up to the meeting, but that bulletin makes it sound as if he hasn't been impressing in his work, and that they could miss the race.

I'd have my doubts ROTO about him showing up, when they've openly come out in advance to question his participation at this late stage. Heard an interview with Robbie McNamara where he seemed to suggest the horse was a fair bit away from the nick you'd want him to be heading to Prestbury Park. We can but hope though!

too many people saying he only has to turn up to win, you dont win any race at cheltenham just by turning up

You certainly don't win it by NOT turning up <laugh>

    Thank goodness for NRNB eh?

Mossey Joe out of Cheltenham according to Matt Chapman.

Terribly disappointed for the horse as its another chance at a big prize he's missing out on. Hopefully they can get him to the Grand National now.

Very disappointing but I guess the warnings were issued a few weeks ago. Ah well, hope he does a job at Aintree.

Mossey generally best priced 33/1 on the boards for the Grand National. Is he certain to run in it or will they go for the Foxhunters there, hope he obliges then take it from there knowing he still has the ability to win races or will they just jump in the deep end and take a chance at the Grand National? I suppose nowadays it isn't as risky or as much as a danger as once thought so perhaps they will go the GN.

Mossey Joe apparently sauntered to victory in a P2P at Dromahane today. Great news and hopefully it puts him spot on for Aintree

Good news. Will they definitely go to the Grand National now or take the Foxhunter race in instead?

Not sure myself but I think that the GN would be the better option. 2m5f at Aintree would be his absolute bear minimum and although he'd probably have too much class it would be a bit of a risk.

I personally think he deserves his chance in the GN.

33/1 is fair enough for the GN. Will you back now or wait until the day?

The odds will tumble for this horse once he's confirmed he will run in the National. Some are offering NRNB though so if you cant hold off its pretty risk free. I can see him going off about 20/1 on the day and i reckon he will line up for the big race. I don't do ante post betting though so I will wait until the morning of the race.

Sadly all the value on offer for Teaforthree is gone and is now generally 10/1 !! Noel Fehily will ride is my guess. Can't see him wanting to ride Pete The Feat who likes to get rid of his jockey...

I'm pretty sure that many would regard 10-1 as value all day long :) The GN is no longer the out and out lottery it once was and quality animals now have a much fairer chance than in the past.

But that NRNB about MJ is looking interesting ........................

10/1 fair price Reebs - Ive just got visions of when i saw 25/1!! I just dont do ante post though... what price will he go off on the day? 8/1? 7/1? The Package sneeks in at number 40 on the list and I believe you can get 66/1 at present although no non runner no bet insurance. That horse would have a good chance if back to his best, off a low weight and he ran an eye catching race at Cheltenham!
