In all honesty? I think Mr. Allams stupid outburst today has provoked the FA into sing all their pettiness to have a snidey dig back at him. Even should we appeal with concrete evidence it would do us no good, thanks to Mr. Allam. It's like a playground squabble between two small children ffs.
He should be banned for being a diving cheat, that he's such a scumbag as to spit in someones face as well, which he blatantly did, doubly so, and it shows how 'classy' Hulls fans are that they'd stick up for him. The words 'gutter scum' spring to mind.
I wish I was as classy as you. PS, 99.9% agreed he dived and criticised him for it when it was discussed.
At first glance of that gif image that was posted here it did look accidental to me as he was about to shout something. This would be very harsh if it was true.

I've met George Boyd on a few occasions (During his Posh days he lived in the Town I shop at) and he's a nice guy. Always had time for a photo with the Peterborough fans and what not. I think it's accidental purely because I don't think he'd do that but it does look suspicious because he's (as someone has said above) called Hart a prick. In doing so he's obviously made the "pr" shape with his lips and, unfortunately for him, he's gobbed. Also in the photos/slow motion the flem isn't bundled together. It's all over the place which is reminiscent of a unfortunate spray rather than intended goz. It'll be interesting to see what'll happen because the F.A. like to make example of people that aren't England captains. You're in for a world of hate
But what's Boyd to do now? defend his corner at the risk of increasing the ban? If he didn't do it, then I would. I wouldn't go down looking like the guilty one.
He should ask for a personal hearing and explain his side of things, using Joe Harts comments in his defence.
Surprised by this, but I have to wonder if the FA just want to punish the club for basically calling them corrupt without any hint of evidence. You can't blame them for wanting to take it out on us but with some of the bizarre cases of violent conduct that have gone unpunished recently it seems odd that this one would be punished. They'd have been better off banning him for diving.
Fair enough. Boyd is charged by the FA. Now him, the club and witnesses like Davies and Hart have the opportunity to give an explanation for what has been shown on screen. Clears things up and if it is shown to be accidental or photo shopped or chewing gum or whatever then no action will be taken and the whole argument will be over. If it was intentional, Boyd will be banned and rightly so.
If it was intentional there is no way that Hart or Man City would not have come out condemning it and Davies wouldn't have lied about it.
