I'm sick of the excuse that some are using that Allams aren't football people.

It's not hard. Employ people from a footballing background and take there advice. But they won't do that because there ego is getting in the way.

Would they employ someone from a none footballing background to manage the team? So why do on the commercial, admin and marketing side?

I'm surprised anyone can like him. From the moment he didnt get his own way with the council in getting the KC for free and immediately went running to the HDM to be snapped on the front page HOLDING THE PLANS FOR THE KC saying he'll take the club to Melton made him look a) stupid b) childish and petulant and c) a thoroughly unlikeable character. He then counfounded this by calling our club name 'lousy', anyone who disagreed with him - including families and pensioners - 'were hooligans' and 'they can die when they want'. And dont anybody come back with a 'lost in translation' argument, he's lived her f**king decades and only uses that when he's made a total cock of himself.

But I'm not saying you're wrong, if you like people like that it's up to you.

Their behaviour has nothing to do with a lack of football knowledge, it simply defines their collective arrogance and preparedness to lie, manipulate and blackmail in achieving their goals. As it is clear this is their natural business style and they have absolutely no semblance of respect for their customers, the supporters (regardless of their fawning and dishonest mutterings), then they should go.

The name-change campaign cannot be considered complete until all of the rebranding that is already in place is reversed. One way or another this is destined to run on under the current owners.

The way I see it, essentially he's had his own way for the past 20/30 years and he literally has lost any concept of understanding other people's viewpoints. It's not that unusual really for successful people and is a reason why a lot of footballers are cocks ie everyone does everything they want from about the age of 8. It doesnt make him less of a loathesome character though.

In the event of new owners, I don't think they will go for name change in a hurry!

We are sadly lacking in that department and that reflects in our current sponsorship deals and matchday revenues, it's not going to change though, even now the club are looking to replace Nick Thompson with another non-football person(though Nick did have some good ideas about what we should be doing, a name change obviously wasn't one of them).

It might more to do with his charitable donations to the daisy appeal, the hull children s University and many more grass roots clubs.

This post about sums it up for me. If they leave, so be it. Unfortunately it may end up being a pyrrhic victory, but sometimes dire consequences are necessary for the long term good. Some moronic coments in the fail today. Some people are desperate to see Stevie G et al at any cost:

And do you not think he does those things for precisely this reason? Didnt Jimmy Savile do a lot for charity?

Im not comparing the Allams to Jimmy Savile, Im saying charity work doesnt paper over the cracks and in lots of cases it is completely self serving.

some absolute corkers. Has there been any indication of when the ballot details will be announced today, I know they said 24hr? although I am sure it will be a twisted, emotional blackmail charged question.

I hope they stay as they deserve all the success that SB and the squad are giving us all. But......

What next maybe ? The Allams sell to someone who CTWD dont like and then start all this again ? Like it or not the owners have the right to do what they want. That is how business works.

absolutely right they don't have to listen to anyone or take any other counter view into consideration (subject to FA approval of course) but what they shouldn't expect is for everyone to just roll over and agree with any decision they make or suggest.

He will be remembered for some stupid comments however he will also be remembered for saving the club when it could have gone like Portsmouth he not only did that but then brought in SB and more importantly backed him. Its a shame the things he comes out with but i think he is the type to leave he will stick by is guns but will want is money back, however he is also the type if he stays with the club i am sure because its his business he will make it a success. take your pick how can you say until you know who the new owners would be, look at Leeds there is plenty of bad ones out there and i can tell you we have had our share (all mouth full of great ideas but nothing ever gets done thats why in our history we have never really been a success until the last few years. I have plenty of mates over the years who support Hull City but never go or that is until recently and you will properly find out there will be many fans who will be City til i die however if things don't go to plan they might be listening on the radio at home instead of at the game ive seen thousands come and go over the years so for me even though i would like to stay as Hull City i think its better the devil you know

This whole saga is a real shame for all involved imo.

Will he carry out his threat to walk off? The fact that he's re-iterated it would suggest he's serious, but I hope common sense prevails and once he calms down he accepts the decision with good grace and moves on from it.

Having got to where you have now, it's be a crying shame if he asset stripped you and sacked you off.

It's not the end of the world .

    ( I don't think we will * )
