I never go on the manc board but have looked at it a few times usually around when we play them, so a general topic thread on there wouldn't interest me at all. Just read the last 3 pages of that 101 thread and I can't believe my eyes. How does a random Geordie find his way onto a random thread, to start with, and then to write what he wrote was shocking - just looking where some Liverpool fans were active, other than the LFC board was he, very brave ? I don't get how rival fans think no justice was applied to Heysel. The police took a few months scrutinising hours and hours of video/cctv, and still photos. They arrested over 30 Liverpool fans, 24 of whom were extradited to Belgium and received custodial sentences. Those poor Juve fans lost their lives needlessly and can't be brought back. However, every effort was made to arrest the main perpetrators who served prison time and it's hard to see what else could have been done. There are numerous personal stories, if you look for them, of Italian families who's loved ones were saved by LFC fans that night, dragging them out and giving kiss of life etc. The club have a plaque up so it won't ever be forgotten or 'airbrushed out of our history' I think tobes among others have said. It really is a cheap shot.
