Ive noticed a few Liverpool fans show some concern over the possibility United might get Klopp. I imagine there would be tears.
Tbf there's **** all we can do about if it happens but we're happy with our manager and thats all that should matter.
Wouldn't annoy me. Man Utd is a big club that is always going to attract the best managers so its to be expected. I like to see the top managers and player sin our league, whether that be for us or someone else. of course, I'd prefer it to not be you guys but I'm sure that feeling is mutual
Now now, remember your "Worried" thread, now we're worried about a manager in the German league you've not even approached yet
I think Van Gaal would be a better appointment than Klopp, as Van Gaal is proven in multiple leagues across Europe, so he's proven he can adapt to different cultures. Klopp has obviously done well in Germany, but I just wonder if he could get his passion for the game across in English
Klopps the sort of guy who is a great manager and great for entertainment value as well. Van Gaal fits into that catagory. Hes mental but hes a great manager.
I think Van Gaal is a bit past his sell by date for a job like United. His methodology is viewed as a bit old school now.
62 His biggest advantage over Moyes is that hes not Moyes. Not in any way shape or form. That for me should be the biggest factor in who we hire. Question 1. Are you Moyes? If the answer is yes, cease the interview and start shooting.
He's 61, so not to old to still manage us for a good few years. An older manager might be a better option, as our players have been so used to Fergie for so many years, that they might have a lot more respect for an older manager like Van Gaal who's been there and done it all, than they would for a young up and coming manager
