Defender Joe Mattock is back in training following a spell on the sidelines with a thigh injury and could play some part. QPR goalkeeper Rob Green is out with cracked ribs and midfielders Armand Traore and Jermaine Jenas both have hamstring injuries. On-loan West Ham midfielder Ravel Morrison (groin) is a doubt. Left-back Benoit Assou-Ekotto could miss out again with the knock he suffered at Brighton last Tuesday while fellow full-back Danny Simpson (back), midfielder Alejandro Faurlin (knee), winger Matty Phillips (ankle) and strikers Charlie Austin (shoulder) and Andrew Johnson (ankle) remain on the sidelines. please log in to view this image Possible Starting Xl's please log in to view this image - - please log in to view this image I was struggling to put a first eleven out here. We must have more injured players alone than Burnley have in their entire squad. I'm not sure that we'll have any defensive cover on the bench either. Hopefully Morrison will come through a late fitness test, and dare I say it BAE to be fit and I'd play him on the left instead of Traore to balance the side better. If we get anything from this it will be a miracle...such a shame that these injuries have come now.....could have got up a head of steam Starting line up????? Murphy Hughes Dunne Ned Hill Barton Henry Hoillet Morrison Kranky The Monster Who's on the Bench... carroll, dunno Maiga? The Brazilian forward, a junior goalie? Not sure who is left!!!!
We probably have more medics and cost associated to recovery than that of other teams football budget for their players!
Completely airbrushed too, she would have looked a lot worse in reality. I always like a woman that looks good in zero makeup rather than one who looks great during a photo shoot or in a club.
Good work Nines. We certainly do have one scarily depleted squad! Sod it, let's go for it. Feed The Monster!! COYRs!
Add to this: 90% chance of Zamora picking up a knock 80% chance of Krancjar running out of juice well before the end 50% chance of Henry breaking down before half time 10% chance of JB heading for an early bath And we really could end up struggling to field enough bodies at some stage.
We still used 4 midfielders on the bench and have the likes of Harriman, ehmer, Hitchcock and that Brazilian bloke up front. At worst, we will have to go with 5 or 6 sub's which teams often do, I think yeovil even did it against us.
Brazillian bloke is playing for u21's today so that will rule him out tonight crazy, Hitchcock at Rotherham, think ehmer is out injured.
Dellatorre must be crap if he can't get on the bench when we have three (Charlie, AJ, Doyle) forwards out injured. What is the point of him being here?
Our injury list is only a couple of centre backs short of being a decent XI - it's no wonder we've had something of a slump in results. Our injury curse is so powerful it's also consumed Granero and even Remy who's out for a couple of weeks (according to the PL fantasy football!). Hopefully the Monster can survive another half or more tonight - he made a real difference on Saturday with some quick link up play that just wasn't happening with Keane upfront. A win tonight is a must if we're going to build up any sort of head of steam...play-offs, promotion...we won't be anywhere near it if we don't start firing now! COME ON YOU R'S!!!
Thanks again Mr 9's, great work. Now come on QPR, the finest football team the world has ever seen, and it's Queens Park Rangers....
The side Beth selected looks about right to me. It may be a youngish bench though (nowt' wrong with that). Lennox, Sendles-White, Keane, Maiga etc.
