Jules read this forum. There are plenty of knuckle dragging ****wits who want them out.

Thanks for jumping to conclusions about my views on Rick too. You're wrong of course, as usual.

Dr Allam is not good in front of a mic. That's hardly news. Plus of course, journalists are all bottom feeders and will portray things how they want, and twist and change stuff, sadly Dr Allam made that easier for the scum. Ehab on the other hand is good in front of a mic, and my current hope is Dr Allam will say "****it, I don't need this ****e" and Ehab will say "actually dad, lemme have it". The biggest mistake imo the Family has made was not to use Ehab more and from the beginning.

The Allams going would be the absolute worst thing to happen to our club, sensible fans like Rick know that. Now go and read some of the views of the more gobshitey CTWD members on this forum, they think they've won a war and want the owners head on a spike. Interestingly, they're the same people who think all fans who aren't them aren't real fans too. ****tards of the highest order they are.

You keep telling us this Lawrie but the main flaw isn't putting the club up for sale as there would be no buyers

To keep the best options of recouping their investment then the Allams need to keep Hull City in the PL, this means continuing to invest in the club

If our cup run has almost wiped out the £11 million deficit we were supposed to have this year, imagine what a Europa League place could do !

As the FA will have seen the financial case put forward by the owners for a name change & decided that it doesn't add up, why are you so intent on continuing to believe what the owners keep saying ?

I have been picking the splinters from my arris over this....But if the ballot goes ahead and the fans 'choose' to go along with the name change, what then? Change of mind by the FA? The owners will use the sympathy vote to their advantage...Clever move in some respects.

The FA have recommended the name change is rejected because the Allam's business case wasn't good enough. A ballot wouldn't change that in any way.

I understand the vote will have yes/no/maybe options, so the FA woud ignore it anyway.

To be fair to the CTWD members I have spoken to, I have yet to hear one say they want Allam out, all I have heard them say is that when he threatens to walk f he doesn't get his way then let him as he will lose most of his £100 million if he does

The whole name change debate has now been shown (if the FA are to be believed) as not being based on raising income, so does that mean it is indeed more about his petty spat with Hull City Council

The key word is 'recommended' As the actual decision is not due until mid April ??? there is plenty of time for the decision making panel to reject the advice. Not saying it will happen, but I would wait.
My concern is that if they do put the club up for sale, will anyone come in to take it off their hands at the price demanded? If not then the future is not great. I understand the CTID mob, but will reserve judgement in the fullness of time to determine if the campaign was the biggest OG in the history of English football. Hope not!!!!

The FA also say that they have consulted with other stakeholders who it would seem are all against the change

You seem to have a very low opinion of the Allams and their business ability.

How would that make any financial sense ?

Sell the club & maybe lose £100 million or keep the club in the prem, keep collecting the millions in loan interest & repayments

The only possible scenario for a businessman would be the second one, as a £100 million loss would bankrupt Allamhouse & it's other businesses

I am not a businessman. He has said on several occasions including in today's Guardian that he will walk away. No doubt he has contingency plans to get his money back one way or t'other. The method of doing that causes me concern. His key assets are the players!!

My reading of the article was he would put the club up for sale and make his money back when its sold. I don't expect many people will pay close to £100 million for us at the minute. Two or three years in the Premier League may increase our value closer to that figure.

Wouldn't those two or three years be better spent working with supporters to increase the income of the club and build on the success his money has already brought to the City?

Blackburn where sold to the Venkys for £23m

That's a club with 10 years in Premier League, it's own stadium and training ground and a decent history.

I'm not sure if the deal was done on the cheap.

That's not how it works, the FA appoint a group to examine all the evidence, then recommend how the full FA Council should vote and they basically just rubber stamp it.

Unless something dramatic happens between now and April 9th and the Allam's convince the FA membership group to change their recommendation, then it will be rejected.

The fundamental problem the Allam's had, was that the reasons given for the name change were bullshit, it was nothing more than a petty spat with the council. That was obvious to everyone at the meeting in November, it was obvious to the Premier League and apparently it was also obvious to the FA. That's not going to change in the next 2/3 weeks.

When you take into account how much players move clubs for these days, clubs cost relatively little, you could almost argue the club just about comes free.

One Manchester City player is probably worth more than most football clubs in the world.

It is NEVER going to happen. The vast majority of fans are, like everybody else in football, against any name change.

There's no decision making panel. There's the small committee who rejected it and the full council to vote.

True but our entire squad is worth only about 30% of the debt owed to Allamhouse
