back to Moyes, when he says - '' we'll try and win the next game'' that's a defeatist attitude, the United job is too big for him.
Because when we had a bad game under Fergie he came out with statements like "that wasn`t good enough, i can tell you now we will be better than that in the next game". See the difference, accepting defeat and meakly saying we will try to get better as opposed to not accepting defeat and demanding we improve.
But that's still not accepting defeat. It's not as positive as Ferguson but it's realistic- why say 'we will' and heap more pressure on yourself when you can go about it less bullishly but positive all the same? Ferguson knew a poor performance wouldn't be repeated but Moyes deep down probably doesn't have a clue what to do.
Would be just our luck if we were to go 3 0 up then concede a late penalty Moyes targets for Man Utd vs Olympiacos: “They say we have to win by three goals, but we only have to win 2-0 to get into extra-time"
Reporter - " David, how are you going to stop Olympiakos tomorrow night ?'' Moyes - '' By winning the next game.''
