I don't know if it can be completely ruled out at this point. The team is lacking in every corner. And I'm not talking about quality but mental strength, fight and spirit. I keep reading that the squad is average but I don't agree with that statement for one second. Any team with Rooney, RVP, Mata, AJ in the starting line up should be in the top three. Moyes is like a cancer that must be cured even if it means bringing back Fergie until a suitable replacement is found.
Yes it can, Fergie doesn't want to be a manager, there's a reason why he retired at the end of last season.
Said a long time ago it could happen. You have a proven winner like 20 metres behind Moyes Have him there until you replace with somebody who can manage. Can see it happening. Yet more parallels with us! We sack Roy, get Kenny back. You sack Moyes and get Fergie back!
Your players were going to give us a game Sunday and at least make it a contest, oh wait...... Dalglish won a trophy and signed Suarez by the way
No point bringing SAF back, as we will have nothing to play for after Wednesday night. The remaining league fixtures have become pretty much exhibition matches that mean next to nothing, as even if we win them all, we still won't get top 4. It would seem ridiculous to bring SAF back to fight for a place in the Europa League a competition I couldn't care less if we're in. I don't even want SAF back for next season, as he's well in his 70s now, and we're only delaying the inevitable, as he can't go on forever. The guy was a amazing for us, and is for me the biggest legend in our history, but he doesn't need the stresses of football management at his age. I really hope he isn't tempted by a return, though it wouldn't surprise me if he is considering a return if Moyes is sacked
The way I see it, Man United could get any manager they want. Mourinho included! And I believe most managers would love to go to United especially seeing how much patience the board has given Moyes. It is almost impossible for the next United manager to fall given they would now be measured against Moyes rather than Fergie.
Exactly Neil Warnock would struggle to do any worse than Moyes. The toughest job in world football has now become the easiest
I would support fergie coming back for the rest of the season, a result vs city could improve our chances.
