Got an offer for a place at Birmingham

Thanks! Yeah, Birmingham was my top choice! Impressive uni and a lovely campus, one of those institutions where you can feel the knowledge seeping out of the walls!

Only problem is, getting back to Bham after the NFL games at Wembley, will be quite tired the day after!

Most of the big cities have been regenerated. I'm sure Birmingham has plenty of good bits.

 

In many ways, I prefer Birmingham to London. The town centre is nice, and it's reasonably cheap.

Still gonna go for the other interviews (just cause it would be sensible). Still unsure what to put on my form regarding whether I've had a warning in the past or not. For one I may just say yes, and explain in the box that it was a minor incident when I was a student that probably didn't result in anything but it says if you have any doubt, just put yes. The other one has a box "Is there any thing else relating to blahblah that we should know?", so I may put it there rather than putting it down as a definite warning when it probably wasn't..... Good idea?

Neither do I tbh! Lots of people are saying it's a winnable tie. It may be, my knowledge of Durham is non-existent seeing as they were non-existent last season I believe.

PL, honestly, you 100% don't need to put anywhere that you've had a warning unless it's an official caution. Which it wasn't. Really. 100%.

How would I know if it was an official caution?

Honestly PL, you should put it on your CV, just in case. Probably up top. In big font. Bolded.

 

Kinda obvious tbh.

 

They have to inform you that it is a caution and they ask you if you are willing to accept a caution. Usually they do it if it isn't worth the time of going to court, but you are guilty so they don't want to just let you go. A caution is official and goes on your record. A verbal warning is just that....a warning about your future behaviour, but not suggesting you have committed a crime.
