Never rated him at Arsenal, thought that was a strange transfer by Barca - and he's not exactly set the world alight there either. Decent player, but nothing special.
I like Alex Song. Barca only signed him as a squad player. He plays the same role as Mascerano and Basqettues.

However I have a feeling that Barca fans would want puyol or Xavi to be next manager frankly LfC will sign up Rodgers and he will stay cos he can achieve and build on today as if he went he'd have to win the cl to be a recognised success there

He wasn't my choice but he was appointed so I've been a Brod supporter from the day it was announced. Part of me wonders though, if we somehow win the league will he be able to live up to expectation that next season would bring? IMO we have overachieved this year but as champions we would be expected to challenge as a minimum, throw the CL fixtures into the equation and I start to get concerned. Obviously, its a great position to be in and awesome for the club so I am not moaning, far from it. I just hope people continue to believe irrelevant of achievements and following results should we struggle.
We'll I thought I'd explain my thinking.... You can track who you like but if it's a senior bod they've got to be a leader and a character and sagna and cole ain't imo
Honestly couldn't care. If we won the title this season, I wouldn't mind if we didn't properly challenge for the next couple as long as we were still challenging for the top 4. I don't think people would think we are suddenly favourites to win it, but after going 24 years of not winning it which includes near enough my whole lifetime never having seen u win the league, I'd sacrifice the next couple of seasons for one.
Rodgers still IMO won't have achieved anything if he gets cl... LfC is about trophies and frankly woy is the only manager since before shanks to not win a trophy... Rodgers needs to win something. He has time to do so and this year he could become legendary...
How can the previous seasons winners not be amongst the favourites? (I didn't mean outright favourites BTW) Like you, I don't really care, just something that occurred to me. Would have been better had he won something first, takes a bit of pressure off. Maybe he'll win a CL first like Rafa
Who knows, for me if lfC win it we still need 6 players to really compete so no favorites Rodgers should get time to have a go at winning something
Maybe not six but I agree we are short still. We've taken advantage of the situation at other clubs. Remember that only Arsenal have the same manager as last season.
