Times have changed to be honest. The same passion for NLD derbies aren't there anymore. The first NLD was a proper passionless affair and this one was more for points.
Someone put this on twatter: "Champions have to be able to play below par and grind a result out" *Arsenal play below par and grind a result out. "You'll never win anything playing like that"! Or something like that anyway. I was drunk when I read it.
Not for me fella. The NLD will always be a massive game full of passion. ****wood was talking up the capitulation boys before the game saying it was going to be 'blood and thunder', but he ****ed it again. Then after the game he was quite content that they'd played okay even though they still lost. Classic loser stance. Spuds - experts in glorifying failure.
The league game at the Emirates was pretty good. The FA cup was a drab affair as was this one. I'm a little disappointed. Maybe we can try and set up a petition to get Gareth Bale back to Sp*rs.
Let the ****s fall apart at the seams I say. I'm enjoying watching a succession of managers and overpriced flops take them from genuine top four contenders back to Europey league wannabes.
great photo. i love Pods passion when he plays. we should play him in every game as he seems to fire up the team
That picture of Podolski in the crowd at the end sums it all up for me. That's exactly how I felt after the final whistle. There were some fans on here after the game moaning that we didn't play well blah blah. Who gives a **** ? I've said it so many times before, I don't care how we win as long as we do and a win away at the Spuds is worth it's weight in gold.
