Simple psychology fellas, I can see what McD is up to, even if you can't. And it's not "blaming the crowd" but trying to use psychology to get them to lift the team while understanding that bad crowd feeling affects the players. McD fully accepts that the paying fans have the right to moan - but if he can get them onside earlier, maybe the team does well enough to not end up in that place. And everyone has a choice what they spend their money on - food, roof, bills, kids, or screw that, I'm off to the football despite being on the dole, cos I need a break from all my hard sitting on the sofa and drinking my tax-payer-funded beer. Moreover, if you demand that the opposition rollover, you will always be disappointed.
