It's exactly as I put, the bit he witnessed was a consequence of other issues. He saw a protest on behalf of other drivers by one who was more militant.
No he isn't. Disagree with him on a lot of things but supporting your parents home town club does not make you a bandwagon jumper. Especially when you support that club through decades of being ****e.

You're confirming that you only know the version on the protest, not the reason for it. As a journo, you'll understand protecting sources, so you're going to have to trust me when I say mine trump yours. They occurred before the guy you're aware of was even involved.

Yep, jumped on the old 3rd division band wagon. There was no glory in supporting Leicester city who were winning league cups and finishing at the top end of the premiership. All the glory was in supporting a club over 100 miles away who were constantly scrapping to stay in business whilst being taken to the cleaners by crooked opportunist owners. I never went to a football match until I went to that glorious away fixture against Bristol Rovers at Bath City's prosperous stadium 20 years ago.

It's not as "simple as" though, because you ignore the how and why it got to where it did. You've shown you only came in right at the end, as the guy you're talking of was pretty much at the end. You're clearly going to get nowhere by stamping your feet at me. Why not go back to the journos that ignored you before and ask them for the more complete story?
