Giggs hates Moyes. Stormed off after training because Moyes had the strikers doing 2 hours defensive work.
Giggs aint the only one. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...blasts-Moyes-showing-no-clubs-youth-team.html
I cannot understand why hes still there. It doesnt bring pride to United by keeping him as some sort of statement. Its moronic. hes not wanted, not by the players nor the fans. I seriously doubt Fergie backs him completely now. In public he may claim to but in reality? Nah,.
Tbf to Everton he deserves it due to the shabby manner of n which he treated them, tapped up well before he let EFC know the score and then trying to con them out of two players with a piss poor offer. Getting the Utd job gave Moyes an arrogance that he hadn't/hasn't earned and its backfired on him big time.
I hope he's still in the job come April 20th myself, as he's going to get a 'special' welcome back...... As you're spot on, the manner of departure and the arrogant bilge he came out with post it, was disrespectful in the extreme. There's plenty of Evertonians enjoying watching him squirm at OT. He's dying a thousand deaths at the minute, it's got to the point where it would be more humane to take him out back and put a bullet in his head...... But not until April 20th Mr Glazer, as we want to watch Bobby hand him his arse on a platter, whilst grinning like a Cheshire cat
He let Bill Kenwright know the score as soon as he knew Man Utd where interested in him, and you can hardly blame him for wanting to further his managerial career, you and I know most managers in Moyes position would have jumped at the chance to manage us. As for the offers for there players, that is down to the board what they want to offer. Moyes is not in charge of our finances he just identify's the players he wants and it's down to the board to make the offers. The same as it is at every other club. You really do love to try and stir things up
Shergar, I live here and I have mates that are bitter blues. You are naive as **** if you think Moyes didn't know a good 12 months in advance that he was chosen to replace Fergie, the blues were talking about it 2 years ago. He **** on the blues from a great height and will reap what he's sown. Its not **** stirring when talking about his unjustified pisstaking offer for his former players its the truth.
We were chasing Pep less than 12 months before moyes apparently knew. He may have known around the turn of the year but not before.
He's Fergies mate, its not beyond the realms of probability that Moyes knew the date of Fergies retirement, even Phil Neville ****ed EFC around before he magically was offered a job at OT.
http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...ane-fellaini-go-says-david-moyes-8782997.html When moyes comes out with statements like these, you can understand why everton fans might feel let down.. Yet Moyes hit back yesterday by saying that if he were still Evertonâs manager, he would not deny the pair the chance to move. âIf I had been Everton manager and Sir Alex Ferguson had come asking for Leighton Baines and Marouane Fellaini Iâd have found it very difficult to keep them because I always felt that the right thing was to do what was right for the players,â said Moyes. âRoberto is in a new job and I am sure he will get to know how Everton work. I signed every player at Everton so I know exactly how Everton work,â added Moyes, hinting at his old boardâs policy of selling their best players.
He will probably last the season as any replacement will be unlikely to leave their post till the summer. That'll then make the board be seen to be giving him a fair crack rather than sacking him mid way through his first season, saving at least a little bit of face. Going to be a long last couple of months for him though, especially if United go out of Europe this week.
Did he bollocks. He kept putting off talk of his new contract, Kenwright was happy to give him time, but started to get a bit jittery about it post New Year, but Moyes sought to allay his fears. Kenwright wasn't told until post the announcement that Ferguson was going. It wasn't just the daft offers it was some of the ****e he came out with that accompanied them. "I wouldn't stand in the way of my players going to United when I was at Everton", the ginger bell end.
So he's supposed to come out publicly and say he's going to be the one replacing SAF a year before it happens, get real! So what if he knew something, would any manager of done differently if they had the chance to manage us? He gave Bill Kenwright plenty of time to sort out a replacement. Moyes did a lot of good in his 10 years at Everton, they may well have slipped down into the championship if it wasn't for Moyes, so Everton fans really shouldn't be so bitter towards him, as Everton are never going to get any better than they currently are without serious investment, so you can't hold it against Moyes for wanting to further his career
He didn't though, that's the point ffs. Of course he couldn't say anything publicly, but after 11 years he owed Kenwright enough to have at least told him privately, that he'd definitively decided that he wasn't going to sign a new deal and was intent on walking in the summer. We didn't begrudge him taking the job, we just weren't having his behaviour over the manner of his departure and some of his comments since.
If it wasn't for Moyes Everton might have progressed in the prem, Martinez has proved this in 7 months at Goodison. Why would he publically break the news that he was tapped up and the date that Fergie was retiring? He wouldn't have got the Utd job if he had and his friendship with Fergie would have ended, get a grip Shergar.
