As i entered the stadium and took my seat, adjacent to the Stretford End, I cast an enviable eye over to the opposite corner of the stand where the travelling fans where already in full voice....it was already feeling like a good day! Roll on the match....it was good to be in with the mancs, hear their angst, listen to the barbed jibes aimed at Moyes. I kept a low profile....but those few seats around me knew where my allegiance lay Wasn't so funny when the Irish fella next to me was screaming 'murderer' in my face.....as the Stretford end burst into their favourite anti LFC song (that and 'always the victim).... Still, nothing could wipe the fecking great grin off my face. 3 pen's just made it better. Would of loved to see Stevie get that hat trick at OT....they hate him, really hate him...which made it all the better..... for the travelling fans....I felt proud watching them and the team. Left the stadium as one smug LFC fan and pissing myself at how poor Utd were. Day was completed when Spurs lost, which surely cements our top 4 place? #Goodtimes
It's Monday so it's back to reality. Now KKK we must maintain our standards so it's "pissing myself at how poor United ARE - the were on the day and they still continue to be -hence they are
So you got Spotted eh I would have been no good in that situation, I wouldn't have been able to keep my emotions in check. And would have probably got a kicking off a couple of dozen United fans
It's impossible not to! It wasn't the 1st pen, which was right in front of me, it was me screaming 'clear it' or other comments that were in direct contrast to those around me!
I got last minute tickets to the 2006 FA Cup Final in Cardiff and had to sit with a mate among 20,000 Happy Hammers. Not the kind of game (Stevie G's late goal) to be at the wrong end of the ground. Got a good view of the celebrations, mind! West Ham fans are generally a class act though... GKRK
Last years third strip (the purple, white and orange one)....under my coat. Had a bet with a mate that if we got 4, that the coat would come off and suitable pictures taken!! Was sweating a bit!
No, I agreed with my mate it would be four. I did celebrate it though....although it was a little subdued - there were lots of really pissed of mancs around me
