Although Moyes may get the bullet the chopping and changing of managers at any club is not good. So even if they someone else in it won't change the facts that

    A) it's not ferguson
    B) squad still needs major overhaul
    C) they won't be in the CL
We all now from experience how hard it is to get back there once you've dropped from contention. If they don't get back next season then I can see them being out of it for some while. Now if only the same could happen to the Chavs.

Moyes has been magnificent at everton over all the Hillsborough commemorations. So wish all this had happened to Slurguson and not him. But life, and football, is not ****ing fair, is it?

keep up the good work Agent Moyes.

Yeah Moyes is a really top bloke and I do really feel sorry for him, he doesn't deserve all the ****e he's getting. He will be hurting big time and I wish that old bacon face was getting this instead. He just looks like a scared rabbit caught in the headlights and this is down to what he has inherited, the poor bastard doesn't stand a chance.

  6. Moyes never really had a choice once offered the job either did he? He was never going to be given a bigger opportunity and his Everton reign was starting to become stale.

Well its important to not attack Moyes the man but Moyes the manager. He is failing as a manager, not as a man.

Moyes seemed to have reached his level with Everton, you couldn't really see him getting anything consistently higher out of them.

The thought was that he might do a better job with a better bunch of players- unfortunately that bunch of players aren't quite as good as their fans and the blinkered media thought they were.

I always thought that he was going to Germany to broaden his management experience and I remember that there was something about this doing the rounds of the press a few years back. I think the whole knub of it is that anyone coming into that set up after Fergie would struggle just by the sheer wait of expectation. Moyes will need a lot of time and a lot of luck to turn that ship around. In the meantime boys fill yer boots cos it's trophy time! <ok>

Oh another thing. Its been mentioned a few times but its important. G.Nev identified the problem Man U had within about 10 mins of playing but Moyes didn't and that's worrying for Man U. Moyes seems paralysed by a fear of failure with his subs. It must be really tough as he seems to have lost confidence in his own ability. If that happens as a manager, especially as Man U manager, you cannot remain in the job.

Remember Everton fans were even calling for #MoyesOut in his last season because they weren't happy with the football

Incredible. Really was incredible. Another statement of intent and I couldn't be more happier. We should have scored more but I'm happy with just 3 ;) And now we're catching up with Chelsea and the title race is on!

Personally, I didn't think we played THAT well - we were just better in terms of ethic, pressing and hard work. SAS were strange, they linked up well but were lacking that final bit of quality to put away their chances.

But my god, how poor are Utd. A team with no clue, no ideas, no philosoph.

I honestly though that if we won today then we would push both you and Arsenal to the wire.

What must I have been smoking :(

Surely it proves just how great a manager Fergie really was! How you managed to win the league by 11points with pretty much the same team is truly remarkable and must go down as his greatest ever triumph. Don't know how old you are but Utd are now going through the Wilf McGuiness era all over again albeit you won't be getting relegated this time around.

Also, credit to Sterling, Allen and Henderson. The pressing, the intelligence in their movement and pressing is crucial to our style of play.
