Another mass walk out as soon as Man Citys 2nd goal hit the back of the net. Would be great one day for all the fans ( apart from those who always leave early ) to stay behind after a loss and just give the lads a bit of a cheer as they walk off knowing were still all behind them as they do when we win. Don't know if these mass exoduses happens all over the European Leagues but it seems always to happen over here.
Especially against a team like man city whereby we battled and actually gave 100% effort. Had we played a lesser opposition yet 'not turned up' so to speak its forgiven, but it really frustrates me to see people leave early. Its like they Dont care!
The exodus was huge on Saturday to so i suspect some on here must of walked out early. Can i ask why? I have never walked out early and i don't buy the i need to get home excuse. I have a ten minute walk to my car and i am straight on clive sully, no queuing, no waiting. Dead easy.
I sit near the hospitality lot in West. Annoying as ****. They wander in past kick off. A steady trickle **** off at 40 mins through to 45 mins. Then they come back gone second half kick off, some it was ten minutes into the second half. Then from 85 mins they begin filing out.
There was loads near us. All stood up as one. I got a fair few stares when I shouted louder than neccessary "There's a lot of plastics fans in here today." to my son. I don't get why you would leave early, just because you are losing.
They are plastics. Most other clubs seem to have them too. You wouldn't want to be in the trenches with them, would you?
Same at every club. It's nothing new. There was a decent amount of applause for the lads and their efforts where I was in the East Stand at the end.
Just before their second goal when we were pressing for an equaliser people around me were leaving. I was praying for a goal for us just after they had left.
I sometimes go and stand at the top of the stairwell towards the end of injury time, whenever I'm dying for a piss, else there's a 10 mile long queue. Yesterday was one of those days but they are rare mind. I never leave view of the pitch til the whistle is blown.
I've done that a couple of times. I feel like I almost have to explain to people as I move that I'm only going to the stairwell.
I sit in west upper and it look like the city till I die lot in East stand, all died after the 2nd goal as E1 & E2 was empty
I sit in the East Stand and when we were in the lower leagues there was no-one in the West Stand Upper - that's where all the plastic, Prem only 'fans' sit with their flasks
