I dont know why everyone is assuming we've signed 3 'class' players. They might end up being **** as they cant settle in this
    league.

because they are all 'class' players. 1 of them has already settled into the prem and just because the other 2 don't doesn't make them ****

Ba - Better than 1 in 3 scorer in the Bundesliga, settled into the English game perfectly, 10 caps already for Senegal.
Cabaye - Regular for Ligue 1 champions Lille, averaged 10 goals and 10 assists for the past 2 seasons. Has broken into the national side.
Marveux - An important player for Ligue 1 Rennes and a former French U21. Scored 1 in 3 as a winger in 09/10 before suffering from injury problems the following season.

I think we can safely say these three are all at least 'decent' and an improvement on our second string at worst. They're all at a great age and between the three of them have racked up a modest £4.5m in transfer fees.

Most importantly in my opinion, each of the clubs involved were disappointed to see them leave. Lille fans and players had nothing but praise for Cabaye, it was a relegation clause that allowed arguably West Ham's best player to leave on a free and Marveux allowed his contract to run down, he was very much still wanted.

Until they prove otherwise I think based on their playing history we can safely say we have made three class signings. <ok>
