Also, Giroud is a joke. I don't care how raw he is, Sanogo needs to start against Chelsea, at least he can win aerial duels, and not be completely ****ing useless at every ****ing thing he tries, what a ****ing insult to this club that stupid, gay haired, lanky french embarrassment is.
I'd love it if we ended Mourinho's ill deserved, sustained-by-cheating, unbeaten home record. If we do and City lose or draw one of their games in hand, the title race could get extremely interesting.
Spurs deserved **** all from that game. Having loads of the ball is pointless if you can create nothing They only created one decent chance and that was because of a Chensey mistake. We scored early and our game-plan was set. We have watched Spurs all season, and we know that they can't create. If we were more sharper on the break, we would have destroyed them. But with Ramsey,Walcott and Ozil out, we were missing three of our most creative players.
Puts us in a fantastic position ahead of the Chelsea game, game in hand a chance to go a point behind the leaders. That's 3 wins against Tottenham, 2 wins and a loss against Liverpool, a win and a draw against Everton - so our results have been good for the top 4 type teams. Need to get a result against one or both of city though to improve our form against the best teams.
1 . Roz goal was just awesome . 2 . Our defence was fit for purpose , MORE than fit , Kos and Mertz did the business. 3 . Our " centre forward " was his usual self , that **** for that goal after a minute because we never showed ANY sign of getting another . 3 points and on we go ...NEXT !
Yeah Giroud was terrible today. His record in the BIG games is becoming increasingly embarrassing. Here's a prediction. He will be quiet again against Chelsea but score against Swansea.
no i think he has had worse games , but in those games we had no one to do his job , luckily today , Roz did it in the first min. The truth is we are now USED to playing with 10 men . We have adapted . ( now we will get moaned at because we won and are criticising Gir-who ! ) but i wonder how many we would have scored if we had a striker on the pitch . 3 ..4 ?
Why this even a talking point? We all know that Giroud is a limited footballer. He just does not have the talent to do what you all expect, today was really bad for him because we played deep and as we know he has no pace to get in behind, so there is no way he could caused their CB's any problems, because even if he managed to flick on any high balls, there was nobody around him. Giroud to be any good needs other players around him, so he can play those one two's. In a game like this, he is pointless. If Walcott was fit, Wenger would have probably played through the middle, like he did in the cup.
