But if the question everyone is speculating on is to be believed, you will get far more opportunity to lodge your protest against the owners. Fan power! Thought you were all for that?
A vote of confidence won't affect the vote at the FA though. They could see it as emotional blackmail and ignore it, which means we stay as Hull City. Assem Allam would get far more respect and plaudits if he just withdrew the application.
Usual suspects defending a bent vote before it even happens. There is absolutely no reason the poll should be anything other than Hull City or Hull Tigers. That's all we're voting on. If it's loaded with threats and blackmail they can **** right off.
Barely anyone is protesting against the owners, they are only protesting about the name change. Though I expect the Allam's will try and make this into a vote of confidence in them, as it's the only chance they've got of getting the outcome they want. If it's a straight yes/no vote on the name change, it will be a landslide.
Default Can just imagine the question now lol - Would you still buy a season pass and attend games if the club change their name with a view to raising the funds required to continue to build into a premier league club .. Yes or No ... what is your answer .. they don't care about history .. they care about who will still pay .. and the FA do as well ... so whats it gonna be ... stick or twist
Usual suspects moaning about a vote before it's even been announced. Like I've said all along, a poll is pointless, it'll never settle anything once and for all to everyones satisfaction. I'm amused there are claims of its only about a name change. If it's not obvious the implications are far greater, some of you are extremely deluded or live in very simple worlds. The Family want the backing of the fans in regards to their stewardship of the club, a poll as misguided as it is, is one way to get that. Internet forums and a small handful of aresholes hijacking old songs and making up new ones urging Allam to go, are not.
There will be some subtext in the wording along the lines of do you wish to accept the name change to Hull Tigers in order to ensure the future financial stability of the club, or oppose the name change which mean we (the Allams) will need to re-evaluate our status as club owners & possibly have to make some unpopular financial decisions to ensure the future viability of the club
There would be no poll if the FA had not told them they would not consider the application without proper fan consultation
It's a bent question, as there's no evidence that it would increase funds. If that was the question, then the FA would ignore it and it would be a complete waste of time. Fortunately, AA isn't as stupid as you, so that won't be the question posed.
A simple name change yes/no vote would show if Hull City fans support this change or not, why make it into anything else, what are you afraid of? Obviously that's a rhetorical question.
you have answered by saying: you did not answer yes or no ... so tell us all .. will you stay or will you walk ? EDIT : this has been 3 threads now people want to know .. will you go or stay .. so the guys on here deserve to know
