Ox is having a miserable game. Can Spurs wear Bayern Munich shirts in the 2nd half, might make him play better.
Oxo needs a lesson from Walcott. I wouldnt say he's having a bad game though - he's making great runs. He's gotta stop carelessly lashing any chances he gets.
What the f--k has happened since we scored,we look like a team scrapping for survival who have just taken the lead against one of the big boys ?,absolutely no composure on the ball,if this keeps up its only a matter of time before we concede.
Undeserved lead IMO, Spurs have been largely the better team, but then we are playing with 10 men (and Giroud), so they have a numerical advantage.
I think it's lucky we got that early goal because we havn't been great since. Defence have done alright but Sagna looks like he might get sent off
It's a big game of course he'll go missing, he always does. We have Swansea next week, he will probably score a brace.
look we are winning at half time. let AW compose them and then lets pick Spurs off on counter attack, and get Ox to take off his shooting wide of the mark boots and put on slick pass to Giroud/Podolski to tap.
We play Chelski before the Swansea game, and Giroud has missed 2 sitters in the previous 2 games VS Chelsea.
Good to get to HT. We've been pegged back but defended well. I mentioned before the game that this would be the spuds game plan, go full tilt. They've done that and they are still one-nil down. They will stick to the same game plan in the second half and tire after about seventy minutes, we just need to be patient and we'll get more chances to pick them off. We've already had a few chances on the counter and scored one. With better finishing from OX we could be two or three up. We need to push up the field in a bit in the second half but other than that, so far so good.
because we are leading at half time. we have won the last 26 times we have been leading at half time ! surely even you have to be happy that we are ahead. we have 45 minutes to keep and extend our lead. Spurs haven't actually had any shots on target and surely Ox can get a shot to stay below the bar.
We keep this up, and we won't be winning. We need to get hold of the ball, slow the game down, and kill the crowd noise, their fans are still spirited, break their spirit, it'll help break the team's spirit, we'll win comfortably.
Anyway ignoring the moaners and as mentioned by a few posters already, the spuds will continue to go for it and leave more and more space at the back. We just need to be patient and stick to defending well and we will get more chances to pick them off. If we win maybe even Kyle will crack a smile
