Was at the benfica game and thought we were poor beyond belief after they scored their first...only to get home and head sherwood say the players had shown him a positive response from his telling off after the chelsea match. Thats why I have no faith for today...we are hoping to hit them on the break judging by the match line up...yet we play with no speed The united Liverpool match has shown me what will happen to us today...we will be battered... The negativity on here suggests others feel like this too
They would be better off buying themselves something to eat as the signs look more healthier then they do!
The reason there is negativity Spurf is because against all of the top 4 teams (I mean the ones right now not Man U) we haven't turned up at all. And on paper the Arsenal team is far stronger than ours. Still as always being a Spurs fan you always have that little hope. I'm sure that can be knocked out of me after about 5 minutes though!
If Arsenal don't ship at least 3 past us, today, they'll count themselves as having played with too much complacency.
Don't get upset, boys. Just accept, as I have, that we are going to get destroyed. I want us to suffer the hardest defeat ever to Arsenal, because that will be the only way we're likely to get rid of Levy (Sherwood's already a dead-man-walking).
I did enjoy Alan Smith saying that conceding earlier was "just the start we didn't want". I could be a journalist if stating the obvious is the only requirement
