Talked about it the other day didn't we UIR. How flat did you guys look? How do you not get up for this game, of all games, to be flat and let us play??
In pub. Happy with that. Best referring peeformance I've seen at OT. Shame Gerrard missed the third pen #predictionpoints
fair play to UiR! LFC easy win. gerrard will be disappointed. our tactics were decent. Sterling struggled in passing so we did ok. Johnson immensely frustrated me by being way to negative and slow with his passing and sturridge annoyed the hell out of me, dived for pen.. deserved what he got thereafter but most of all he refused on so many occasions to play a simple pass for us to make a goal. Otherwise... agger, skertl, gerrard, allen, henderson controlled it brilliantly. Mata and rooney played very well and works really hard and really tried. RvP didn't. Felliani is uselss for utd, shouldn't be on that pitch, I must say though De Gea is class and real madrid should step in ASAP "need 8 players" according to ferguson.. just got the team wrong.
Have to agree and pick up on the negatives despite the win. Both spent way too long on the ball: Johnson dallying doing nothing and Sturridge carrying it too far.
Johnson looked so slow on the turn too I noticed. Evra, Rooney, multiple times just dragged the ball by while Johnson was flat footed.
he'd have given the one against Johnson, that's for sure, and probably the one when Rooney flung himself against Skrtel. And he'd have sent off Flanagan. And Suarez for slipping over.
I thought Johnson was decent. He was bit slow on the ball at times but sometimes may have been lack of options off camera. Midfield 3 were great and Cout exposed the space well when he came on. Mig, apart from one shaky missed punch at corner was solid and a very good save just before halftime.
We are champion material! Our away game and defensive game have improved! United are rotten! Clattenburg is a good ref!
I was being sarcastic He didnt have his best game but still got a assist (if you counts pens) and goal
Fergies face **** the couple of tiny negatives....I'm focusing on the positives. We just walked all over the mancs in their own backyard We weren't even at our best and still got a clean sheet and a performance that deserved more goals. Brilliant result that, the away day problems are being overcome, opposition defenders are visibly ****ting their shorts every time we get the ball, Gerrard adapting quicker and quicker each game (as he always has given a bit of time), Flannel solid again, Hendo tireless as per usual and our bench looking much stronger now with Sakho and Lucas back. Most of all we have a group of players who are enjoying themselves and have belief in their own abilities and the abilities of all those around them.
