    ****ing crap.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - Ward out.

If we survive, he won't take us up next year. Time for a new face.

The way I see it is that Ward probably should go because the minimum expectation this season was to challenge for the play-offs or finish in the top 10 at the very least, and ultimately he has failed miserably. In reality we haven't been close to achieving that; instead it has been another season of struggle, and it's beginning to try the patience a little. Yes, there have been some good performances, particularly during that recent run, but when you take the entire season into account, it hasn't been good enough.

its still very close in our table. we could still finish in top 10 which would be a good end to the season and also improves on last season where we ended 14th. we are 7 points away from 10th and have a game in hand on a fair few teams above us. still plenty of time left so maybe a bit harsh to say he has failed miserably especially when we all know he has had to go half a season with a long list of injuries and therefore we been relying on youth and inexperience, while waiting for certain players from injury to recover and then try and get rid of these players to get funds available to improve the squad which ward has been trying to do all season. our form since then has been pretty good.

yes ward has made mistakes with being too negative in games etc but some of the goals we concede have been down to lack of concentration by the players which is hardly wards fault. remember these are league 2 players.

i also think it will be a bad idea to get rid of ward in the summer. if he goes then i hope he goes now so a new manager and assess the team and decide who he wants to keep. we will be losing a lot of players in the summer due to players out of contract. so there will be a lot of players coming in the door. a new manager now can assess the team. a new manager in the summer could end up just like how it was when buckle came in.

i think it will be a mistake to be honest in letting ward go.

I still think Ward's the best man for the job, but perhaps he needs a better deputy. The guy from Salisbury seems to have had a negative effect. The whole point about last season's resurgence was the pride in Bristol Rovers, with people like Stewart much more involved. There are other people around with a real passion for the club. That's what it takes. If you look at Scunthorpe, they are managed by an ex player. People who know the club inside out tend to do better.

The home record's been good, the defence has been better. With a couple of goalscorers we'd be fine - preferably ones who are not injury prone. There must be some more Carayols out there somewhere...

I feel we should start signing some of the best players from the Conference etc. I swear Nathan Ellington was the last time we did that and it's 15 years ago.
