You're right Comm. He stayed on 606.shame, he was a good poster, not like some of the tossers on here now.

Sounds like you had a good day, Whitey.

I've just checked, January 2005 I joined 606 to moan about Souness playing Bellamy out of position Against Arsenal. Been some cracking posters, black and white and red and white. A load deferred to toonforum a couple of years ago.

Psycho was one of my favourite ones. He hated Newcastle. <laugh>

I can't say I remember many from back then. I was on old 606 (as I think Hazardo11 but I only posted occasionally) from about mid-2007, at least here the moderation (despite what people say about it) is light-handed.

Is the DMW currently posting on Newcastle board the same as the one from back then? He used to just be a wum...

Didn't he come on here early days as well?

One of my favourite mags ever on this site was Chappaz, **** could he rant on, send a glass eye to sleep, but would never give up.

My biggest memory from bbc606 (I was called Bring-me-my-Steed back then) was this one thread on a Friday night where people were talking about going to the airport to see a flight arrive with a potential signing on there. Think it was N'zogbia or maybe Bent?! Was hilarious!

Gordon Armstrong did come on this site for a while, but soon left as he didn't like the format...He still posts on JA606 which is a carbon copy of the BBC606 site....
