Now as awful as this attack is - she bumped into someone whilst dancing FFS - the thing that strikes me most is the 2 quotes in the article about being 'scarred for life'. Hmmm....she's 55 years old. Even if she lives to 110 she was only scarred for half of her life. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Woma...r-Bar-Hessle/story-20810295-detail/story.html I would like to understand the psyche of someone who thinks 'That 55 year old woman just fookin bumped into me the bitch, I'm gonna bite her nose off'. Seriously - at what point does someone think that?
That place sounds quality. There was a place with a reputation like that round here until a few years ago. When we were kids, 14 or 15, they'd let us drink in there and the amount of fights was unreal. A bloke got even shot in there one night. The bar staff in these places seem to encourage it, people go to these bars purely for a scrap or to watch people scrapping, you get proper fights there not the soft fanny fights like between the teenage boys in night clubs that are broken up within a few seconds. I guess you could call it bar hooliganism It took 90 seconds and that lady to have her nose bitten off before anyone decided to step in. Certainly at he pub we used to go to the only time anyone would step in is if a knife was pulled out or the loser was getting beaten to near death.
lol Charlie. Seen a few horrific injuries over the years, hard for a normal person to imagine what goes through these peoples heads.
I hate people who can't handle their drink and start throwing their weight around, to the detriment of others, because they've had a few. Though in this extreme case, I think you'd have to be scum to start with to want to chew someone's nose off.
"Gemma Wilson and Sam Ledger will appear at Beverley Magistrates Court on Monday charged over the alleged assault. This lovely couple are getting married in a months time. Pending sentencing obviously....... A mate of mine is invited Both sets of families are that way inclined.
When I was growing up in Hull I used to think that places outside the city like Hessle were posh. "However, East Riding Council's licensing sub-committee has approved Miss North's application to lift the restrictions and, in three weeks, the bar will return to 2am closing."
I went to a wedding reception a while back in the Clarence, Charles Street. Police with dogs were called to break up the fighting amongst the guests.
The 53 yr old woman is a bully. She was barging the 21 yr old all night and assaulted the man after the 21 yr old pushed her back the two woman ended up fighting. The girl thought she was biting her arm as she was pinned to the floor by her hair. It was a fight that got out of hand. Don't believe the rubbish in the papers there is always two sides to every story. I wish the couple all the happiness ;-)
