Good old Rickie, you can hear him saying all that in your head. A great ambassador for the club.

As ChilcoSaints says...you can hear Rickie saying it. He is the perfect example of the characteristic that Krueger wants to promote for Saints...a lovable, modest, generous guy. Interesting that he thinks Gallagher is better than he was at that age...makes you think how good Rickie could have been if he came through our Academy now....right food, training, rest etc. But then he may not have been the same man with a different history.

Yep, absolute legend - love the guy.

Each question I can actually hear the response in my head as Rickie would say it.

If they make a story about his life, I think the only person that could play him is John Bishop!

Lol. I was watching his interview on MOTD and thought to myself 'he is reminding me of John Bishop'. Not noticed a similarity before.

But he left himself an out because he only said Gallagher was a better STRIKER than he was at that age! <laugh>

They also have a similar, endearing modesty about themselves.

    Rickie is a top fella.

John Bishop is an unfunny twat.

I find him very funny :) and I normally only like the more 'considered' stand up comedy rather than laddish stuff like Russell Howard.
