Brilliant what a player. Had a silly **** behind me saying get tight get tight. But you just couldnt., Was a pleasure to watch him today, begrudgingly.

Best performances I've seen at the KC by an oppo have been Defoe, Rooney and Fat Frank but think Silva topped them.

We should have closed him down for the goal but...

I said this to my cousin.

What a joy to watch. Can only admire what a special player he is. Between the lines and between the positions, popping the ball around. He is pretty amazing to be fair. I think (maybe bar Aguero when he's on his game), Silva is Manchester City's best player.

He should have been closed down for the opening goal, but hindsight is a wonderful thing.

I agree Chazz really was class, Hazard was also class when he played at the KC.

Ye forgot about him John. He is definitely the fastest I've seen over ten yards.

He really was a bit ****ing good, if we're picking the best away player we've seen at the KC this season, he's probably in the best one...

It was good to see Nasri being a bit gash though, I hate him.

De Michelis was nowhere near as bad as his press.

However brilliant Silva was his goal was so easily preventable. Livermore just let him go, don't get me wrong good movement but Livermore didn't follow him at all. I am a huge Silva fan, and i think he is a class above anyone we have seen at the KC this season.

Classy player and had an excellent game today.

He's from Gran Canaria and has several investments in the South East of the island.

If you are ever down that way, this place is fantastic.

Best champagne cocktails it has ever been my privilege to loll on a bean bag and sip.

Diving's quite good too. Wonder if Boydy fancies it?

True, but I've watched him at least half a dozen times this season and that was the best performance I've seen from him.

I'd actually be disappointed if we signed him.

As talented as Silva is, and as good as he was today, I still think Toure and Kompany (despite today) are more important and less replaceable than Silva. There are days when he struggles to get into a game enough.

It was a great goal, but it was appalling defending, if we'd not have conceded then, it would/could have been a very different game.

Silva and Toure were exceptional, the rest of the team were no better than ours.

Agreed. The thing you don't see fully on TV is his movement and how much running he does. Always available and so confident on the ball. Talking of available, it was noticeable how 10 man Man City had more men available when they had the ball than we did.
Normally I am only interested in City, don't go to watch the opposition, but you couldn't help but watch him. And be impressed.

I didn't realise Silva was that small, he's a midget. We ****ed around far too much with the ball today, it infuriates me, rather than pressing forward we pass back to the half way line then forward, then back again. We lose momentum and allow all the Man City players back into position. Man City were good, but we were ****e today - a complete lack of urgency and pressing when we didn't have the ball. I have no issue with the pace at which Man City moved the ball, but we should at least have made it difficult for them, but we didn't.
