Marcos Alonso, on loan from Fiorentina to Sunderland, looks a good player with good technique and is a LB. Thoughts on a cheeky bid? Been impressed with him most times I have seen Sunderland.
as cover for enrique, ie cheap option? cant say i know much of the player, but if he is to be backup to enrique, wouldn't it be better the other way round and an improvement on enrique, or cheap viable option to have, so funds are better spent elsewhere?
I think he could start for us! If we could get him for 7 mil, I would prefer that over 15 mil for Coentrao. I quite like Alonso's game, strong in the tackle, great left foot, ability to find a pass from the back. If Cardiff go down..... Gary medel as a DM? think he is 27.
Very good shout Bluff. Alonso is a fantastic player and is really standing out in this Sunderland side, watching them play now and he's great with the ball at his feet and actually quite fast. Hasn't really been tested defensively yet but he's not going to be as good as Enrique in that department.
Not a coincidence that the team and back were better when he came along. Also this is showing he can handle the prem AND have the cajones for a relegation dogfight aka pressure.
I do like Alonso but there is 1 left back we MUST be looking at and that is Ricardo Rodriguez - he's the second best full back in the Bundesliga after Lahm.
A box to box MF for £10m, who do we have on our short list? Or do we go for a £20m buy in that position?
The Mirror having a laugh. Barcelona eye Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers as summer replacement for Gerardo Martino http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footb...-liverpool-boss-brendan-3247304#ixzz2w4JvPPSp Follow us: @DailyMirror on Twitter | DailyMirror on Facebook Who the **** are Barcelona.
Can't see David Marshall being at Cardiff next season. He's been their player of the season and pulled off some wonderful saves this year.
How about Greizman (sp) rather than Kono. Left winger, only 22, played in CL for Sociedad and has 15 goals this season. Looks a good player on the few times I've seen him. Decent in the ball and decent pace.
