Well not boos as such but he's reached the "can't do anything right" stage with certain sections of the crowd for sure. I think people are expecting too much from him, if he doesn't score a screamer within 5 mins of coming on he's having a **** game.
I don't expect him to score a screamer every game but I do expect him to make tackles and pass accurately, neither of which he did today, he's been poor since he's come back from his injury. Give home a few weeks to get up to speed and judge him then.
Aluko is short on confidence that's all. he is a class larker, he isnt like DG. Everyone was saying that DG was short on confidence.. BOLLOCKS DG couldn't hit a barn door - he was like a blind Matty Fryatt. Aluko had some class touches.
He's been bloody awful since his return, what do you expect fans to say ? Everyone can see he's playing badly, but they aren't booing him, which is good ?
He's, understandably, playing ****ing abismal and I think Quinn/Sagbo are more deserving of a substition spot at the minute. Didn't hear any booing though.
Don't think you've got a point Tony I'm afraid. In my opinion he's always been over-rated at City. He got hyped to be something he isn't. Even when he was scoring goals last season he hardly ever actually beat a man and this season in the 10 games or so before his injury he only contributed to two goals. He's nowhere near as effective as he should be in terms of making things happen. He can make a clever turn 50 yards from goal but just doesn't beat defenders often enough, particularly in dangerous areas, even when he's playing well.
I think he's a very talented footballer, who isn't playing very well at the moment. He's nowhere near being a boo-boy yet. Not while Figgy's playing...
Maybe he should talk to Thudd - learn how to read it and see where your team-mates are (instead of trying to go for the glory all on his own....)
