I see the Copa America starts on July 1st over in Argentina as the South American teams go head to head to see who can replace Brazil as the new holders. I wonder if we will have any scouts over there watching a player or two. So far Brucie's Sunderland South American signings have turned out to be flops but thats life doesn't matter if we sign a player from 10mile up the road, France, Africa or South America there is a chance they can flop but there is quality over there that have came to the prem and looked good Sandro at Tottenham for example along with Brucie's former signings Hugo Rodallega and Wilson Palacios. Anyone know much about the players from that part of the world obviously we know about the Neymar's, Messi's, Forlan's etc. but anyone who might suprise a few people and someone who could come to us and do a job. Hope and would expect us to have scouts over there watching the tournament closely.
Not done too well with the South Americans though lately, but the odds are sooner or later we will to sign someone from that part of the world who can do a job for us on the pitch.
Agree pal, think with the South American's if we are looking at them they have to either be very quick or big muscular blokes, look at the 3 we had 2 lightweight and not quick enough to get out of trouble before you even talk about there footballing ability. Look at the 3 Brucie signed for Wigan, they are all big blokes who can handle themselves, ours would have to stay indoors on a windy day incase it blew them away
