I'm not getting personal mate. You posted one sentence out of context that made me look like a fool. Whether that was your intent or not. My point still stands, the way to get people out of the bars, is to get some passion back into the stadium. To do that has to start on the pitch and in the squad. Some of the ones in the bars will never go to the stadium even if it was free that's just the way it is. But to get the waverers onboard has to start with the team we put out. Give them something to get excited about.

Is another description of an alternative fan, one that is simply sick and tired of absolute failure at the club and mediocrity dressed as success being touted as achievement? You are welcome to that stance but for many we just want to see the clubs ambitions matching our own for once. We escaped relegation this season by the skin of a fly's cock AGAIN. Finishing 10th was a fluke and to cling to that as a sign of progress is merely ignoring the truth. We were 2 results away from playing Cardiff next season and since that, we have sold one of our best young players and bought Muhammady. You may think thats wonderful too. Not everyone does.

Ok makemsrule Nothing i said was meant to offend you or your son i have a boy of 26 myself and he also thinks they are ****e but he still supports them fortunately he lives in London and has an excuse not to go. I am also not trying to defend the team as some of the poor performances have been dire (stoke and Wolves away for me as well as both derby games) We have just achieved our longest spell in the top flight and not had to worry about last day relegation for two years To me this is progress whether anyone likes it or not and ill back Short Quinn and Bruce untill things start to deteriorate.
