Not really, you're quote below doesn't exactly give anything more than suggestion that 'you think' that 90% are from the ER (this is more than likely due to it affecting the only club in the area) but still not accurate figures. I'm aware that the 1600 is a bit out of date now, but that was the number submitted to the FA, Ehab might have misquoted Cardiff but he acknowledged that the 1600 weren't all City fans (which you've confirmed). As a businessman, logic must say that if you have a product that 18000 like and less than 10% don't like the proposed changes to the product you will still continue with the proposed changes.
Specifically with regard to the claim that CTWD members aren't even City fans(and that we've had support from Cardiff), I'd say 90% of CTWD members are in the East Riding and I don't remember a single application from Cardiff. The 1,600 members is a little out if date too.
I want to just mention, again, that I want to remain Hull City but I won't stop going and supporting the team if the name change goes through
no it hasnt a member of this board posted on here he was getting frineds family members etc signed up who had nowt to do with City. Ehab exact words were they have support form the wider football community who dont want change at their own club, such as Cardiff. Put this to bed OLM how many of CTWD are season pass holders? Ehab states that they arent all season pass holders. come on put it to bed. How many of CTWD are season pass holders. Simple one to do. You like clearing up errors do this one.
The BBC describe dozens of complaints about a programme watched by millions as being inundated, and generally take prompt action to remedy the cause. Even if it was 'just' 1600, which it isn't, it's still a significant issue that good business would try to address, not ignore.
It's not a simple one to do, if I email every member and asked them for their seat number, how many do you think would respond? We have 44 members who we are missing email addresses for(all from the Tigers Lair meeting), I wrote each one of them a person letter asking them to simply email me their name. I'm still missing 32 of those email addresses. If I emailed them all asking for seat numbers, i'd be lucky if 30% of them bothered to respond, making the whole thing pointless. As I already stated, it's too late for CTWD or the Allam's to do anything now, all the submissions are in and the FA will base their decision on the information they already have.
Any reason, other than being a bell end for writing Family with a capital F? Will you be allowed to go to games in December if we become Hull Tigers?
Cringeworthy to see Rob Palmer referring to him as 'Dr' Allam. As bad as that Boro turd 'Clem' giving AA a Benny Hill stylee slap on the napper a couple of years back.
I will always call us city as will my 3yr daughter..but ive gotta give em the benefit of the doubt based on track record. If calling us the tigers means huge sponsorship from coca cola etc enabling regular top8 epl finishes, european football and more cup semis then id vote yes to the Tigers.Bit of a no brainer but apparently not!.Money speaks at the end of the day and i expect most clubs will go all american in the next 50yrs.so we might as well get in there first and get the first pickings.IF it all goes tits up then the next custodians of our club will change it back so fk it.Comparing Allem to Himmler way back on page2 with no fourth coming objection till now on page9 just about somes alot of people on here up!...dinosaurs.
Will you charge for people to sleep with your daughter? Does everything have a price? Should we lower ourselves just cos other clubs do?
Well there's me for one and I know people who have not actually joined CTWD but have quite willingly gone out and bought the scarf and don't want a name change. As has been said all Allam has to do is put it to a vote, simple.
Changing our name to Hull Tigers will get us millions from Coca-Cola? Did you really just type that? The whole of the sporting world think our owner is bonkers and a name change unnecessary, what major company would want to associate itself with this fiasco? Too many people on here seem to have had a common sense bypass, they'll believe any old codswallop.
Lol No id rather be back like when i started to go in 89...3000fans,**** football,**** ground,a brick wall to piss against for toilet facilities and perhaps we can all go back to fighting rival fans in the carpark of course.
plot twist : he gets the name approved / permission to change it, then sticks out a public vote as to whether or not its implemented or not. Kind of makes sense, why stick a vote out before hes applied if he doesn't know if it can be done. I can imagine the scenario, FA approve the name change, Allams say right, Its Hull Tigers - then names big name cash injection, or Hull City , we have no more cash to put in and the club will be up for sale and we could end up with another owner who actually is loopy like Ashley or Tan... Go vote. Wonder what will happen then.
Without googling think my 1st game was v sheff wed was about 11000 so stand corrected..wasnt that long after before my point stands though.
