I think he would be great for a bit of wing cover

I thought he was the only Leeds player to come out of the game with any credit when we stuffed them at the Liberty so yes maybe a good idea for cover for our wingers.

What do you think Simon, should we sign Tom Huddlestone as backup for Howson and Clayton? I hear he's on the market for 500k.

Yes, because footballers are renowned for only wanting to play football, and aren´t known for taking bigger salaries/wanting to play in a higher league...

If we came in for him he´d probably want to talk at least, but I doubt there´s any legs to this story.

He impressed me to be fair at the Liberty, aside from gifting us a pen he was your best player imo.

He's already said he's happy where he is and will sign a new contract when it gets offered. Sitting on the bench or around in the reserves at a Premier League club doesn't really count as "playing in a higher league" when compared to playing every week at a Championship club aiming for promotion as far as I'm concerned.

You have to get past Bates first, he doesn't want to sell. T'shop's shut I'm afraid.

Depends on the player. I don't think Gradel is a sell out.

Bloody hell, the Leeds fans on their board just have no sense of humour, obviously they don't like the fact that the swans are being linked to Gradel, even though its the Mirror doing the linking lol, I hope we get him now for the sum supposedly offered ;)

we just don't like people suggesting that a relegation candidate with a much smaller and less passionate fanbase is a more attractive prospect than a promotion candidate where he's already a fans favourite.

So you are some kind of superior fan then in Leeds? I mean we don't give a toss do we being less passionate about our club!

Is there any wonder people don't like the leeds fans?

With all due respect to Leeds colossal and passionate fanbase I have to agree with Scottswan in that I don't think the players morals are as unwavering as us fans may think.

Now I know I'm not a real fan compared to those awesome Leeds fans. And I know we will be hammered every game and we will be the whipping boys of the Premier League. But after all said and done, we are in the Premier League and what better shop window is there to further you career??

facts is facts we are on average way more vocal in our support, and as that is the whole point of support, to be vocal and lift your team, it most certainly matters.

Sitting on the bench (or not even that) getting the odd game in the premier league is NOT a better shop window than playing every week in the championship.
