i think we should be protesting against jungle book the tiger in there seems tame as ****, he had so many opportunities to maul mogli to death yet he just sombres on.. a disgrace if you ask me the tiger should be mauling him to absolute bits
He's insinuating that if you're that passionate you won't go to watch games if the name change goes through, nothing to do with this year. He actually states we're getting success now...
On an internet forum yes you can. CTWD are campaigning for a vote of season pass holders, so if you arent one then no, unlikely the Allams will give it anyway. Hope this clears it up.
Not to stoke the fire or anything, but does anyone recall one of the radio humberside interviews he did just before he left. He seemed to have decided we wanted him out when we really wanted him to stay. Confused the hell out of me at the time. Can't remember exactly what he said. Was a post match interview because i remember being in the car at the time.
That's the one. Burnsie suggested the fans would be upset if he left. He just shrugged sarcastically and said "would they?"
Unbelievable, did you not read my post above yours? It's well documented that Heinrich Himmler "came across very well", a mild-mannered, well-spoken man.. means nothing.
And that accounts as hate? Sounds more like him just not giving a **** about those who disliked his style.
The CTWD campaign is aimed at Hull City fans and the FA as they are the ones who will vote on the proposal. We have 1700 plus members but many more have sent in postcards opposing the name change. The FA Council will make their decision on what they think is best for football in general not what they think is best for CTWD or Assem Allam. For me the issue has always been very simple, if the name changes my club is dead. The only question then is, do I give up watching live regular football, which would mean North Ferriby United, or do I help create AFC Hull City. Time will tell. The interview said virtually nothing new. If they don't get their way they'll put the club up for sale within 24 hours whilst threatening legal action against the FA. The end is coming, one way or another.
Yeah like he confides in David Burns who is only after a scoop for his employers. Consumate media professional Nigel Pearson, I miss his interviews on Mudbank.
I find it fascinating that not only every argument about the name change is challenged, but now every decision that the Allams have ever taken is also under question. Pearson hasn't turned into a football genius overnight. With the investment that Leicester have spent over the past 4 seasons, he should have been sacked for the way Leicester capitulated last season. This season's performance merely reflects the fact that financial fair play has curtailed the other Championship teams spending (except DQPR of course who seem content to bankroll a group of mercenaries).
Oh well done, you've managed to throw in a badly-written if mildly entertaining soft-porn novel into the argument. Whatever Nigel Pearson thought about City fans doesn't matter. He was a good manager who made us defensively solid and steadied the ship on a shoestring budget.
He built the basis of our team- Fryatt, Rosenior, Brady, Chester etc His team are running way with the League this season. It's infantile to rubbish him and say 'he went to pieces'.
Blah blah blah unpopular decisions that were later proved right. Blah blah trust we we know best. Blah blah anyway he went to pieces in the promotion run in (titter, smirk) so we were right to get rid.
Fair analysis. Bit dickish but he has a bit of a point about unpopular decisions proved right. Not about going to pieces though. Pearson was great for us! He was the catalyst for this
