I remember going in the 60s and 70s when it was a shock to have to pay for FA Cup matches! I'd go in the ground 2 hours before kick-off and no hospitality just standing on the terraces. The experience is totally different now.

I think they've done a decent job. You're never going to please everyone.

I was on the back of the top tier in 2008 and it felt like I was hovering over the pitch.

    Downgraded!

I'm sure they could have still kept the records even if it was in a different format.

why are you that bothered about the extra ticket?

you can get yours and if you go with your mates they can get one too.

I wanted to pay for my folks to go (who aren't pass holders but regularly go to games home and away) as a thank you for them paying for my play-off final ticket in 08.

    That's it really.

I'm not going to lose sleep over it. It's a bit frustrating but life goes on...

The thing that shocked me was right at the bottom. To park a car at Wembley is £30:shocked:

Thats a nice gesture, hopefully they will be able to get tickets.

I'm getting an extra ticket for my mate who moved away after been pass-holder for 12 years and only mainly gets to away games now.

the play off final was the best footy day in our life

Just read the following on FaceBook City page:

'Provision will also be made for supporters who meet the criteria but who live out of town/are unable to attend the KC Stadium. Further details will be confirmed in due course.'

    I think they've done a **** job.

Everyone will obviously want the lower tier behind the goal, unless they're a bit whacky, and now with the whole two tickets thing that prime area will doubtless be full of day outers who got tickets through their mates, and those lucky enough to get a seat in that area will have their match day experience ruined by having to sit down to satisfy the day outers and pensioners wives and it will be devoid of any atmosphere.

    I'm taking my vuvuzela.

    Thanks, I hope so too.

I went to that game with my Granddad in 08 and it ended up being his last game seeing the Tigers. I want my folks to experience what we did back in 08. Like you say, best footy day in our life :)

agreed, i want to be able to stand up, but may aswell bring my pillow seat... and might as well wear the duct tape one lass left over

i previously said i already know one massive bellend **** who hasn't been to a single game since the first prem season who lives a couple miles from the kc, that is going to be sat around that area.. who i despise with the all the lemons of the world,i hope their ticket mysteriously turns to ash before the gate

Ah super. Does anyone know if the criteria must include home ticket purchases as this year I've only got away ones?

we have, 18000 season pass holders

everyone of those will get a ticket should they want

then any non pass holders who attended the away fa cup games should be 2nd priority

then people who have attended away league games

    then general sale

    imo

If the seating where I am is anything like where I was last time, with nothing in the form of leg room, say there happened to be a rather attractive lady sat right in front of me wearing a low neck line, and obviously I'd only be leaning right forward because of the steepness of the stand and to get my eyes as close to the pitch as possible for a half decent view, but I somehow happened to grow a stiffy, obviously for no reason.... There wouldn't even be space. I'd be sat for 90 minutes with my wanger tilting the seat in front so far forward it's occupant would think they're riding on oblivion....

Standing up is a MUST with such little leg room, if only for that reason.

i wouldn't want to confuse, the dim bastards that arrange it, but yes certainly

i can't stand the thought of ****s who haven't attended to come to this game, i actually despise them ( and obviously im not talking about foreigners ( people not from/living in this area)

i know a man city fan, who's been going since the 90s, who feels the same, he infact absolutely despises them beyond redemption after their recent success

i think even if i was stood with my shins touching the seat in front, mine wouldn't be anywhere near <laugh>

but still, i wanted to be a singer, i use to sing holding my hairbrush

and there's a rumour, I MIGHT be singing the national anthem on the pitch ;)

Good point. If the name change has gone ahead by then I won't feel any need to take any notice and can tell them to **** off as being thrown out and getting a ban won't bother me.
It will be embarrassing seeing all the Blunts stood up getting behind their team whilst most of ours are sat down, either because they are that type or their whinging has got the stewards involved in.

would being thrown out from wembley, effect attending hull city home games?

i have a rather outrageous plan for the last game of the season if the name change does go ahead though, i won't care if i get banned
