    Don't believe my luck.

I had On His Own at 40/1 when they supplemented him and posted it on this forum. 40/1 winners don't come round often. I feel robbed today.

Three great days punting and one stinker. Cheltenham.

Ahhhhhh Ned Buntline nearly capped off a brilliant day for me, oh so close.

Can't complain with what I've got though.

Well that's that. Bruised but not battered and certainly not on the dole (luckily, never was in my whole life). <laugh>

well no winners on the final day for me - complete disaster but I did have a good first 3 days.

just realised I had a bit of luck on the final 2 races though. I had a 33/1 saver on One Lucky Lady in the 4.40 and a 33/1 saver on French Opera in the 5.15.
they both finished 5th -typical I thought sums up my day. turns out that on my online betting account they were paying out first 5 places - so a good end to the day for me!

    From Sporting Life:

Jacob was taken to hospital for assessment, and Nicholls later told Racing UK: "It's not great news, I'm afraid. It's been confirmed at the hospital he's broken his knee, his leg and his elbow. He's going to be operated on tomorrow morning. It's devastating for him and is going to put him out for a while. I've seen the video of the incident and it's horrific. Obviously, he's desperately disappointed, but I'm glad he rode that winner on Lac Fontana or else he'd have been suicidal. He's ridden a winner, he's in good spirits, but it's terrible news having an injury like that."

Jesus christ and it actually looked pretty harmless <yikes> wish him a speedy recovery

And he told Alice Plunkett that he wanted to get up and walk to the ambulance... Jeezus, these jocks are hard as nails, stupid, fearless and brave all at once at times...!!!

We wish them all well and a speedy recovery...<ok>

What price On His Own in the National? If you're backing it get on now! I've had a crap last day but am up overall on the week, which is always a plus for The Festival.
