I think to get a chance of being served it would be an overnight q, so two days off work and stand outside all night
The Blades are selling them online and over the phone!! Also been told to sell from North to South - does that mean that they're not expecting to sell them all? There coach travel is more expensive than ours
Sheffiled United have about 500 tickets less than us. Their general sale is 30 March. Arsenal have over 40000 tickets and Wigan only have 22000. Wembley say the remaining 25000 tickets for each game will not go on general sale. www.thelondonticketagency.com is offering tickets starting at £175!!!!
I suspect, that if there's around 6,000 tickets left after the season ticket holders have their go, then they'll set up an email form for general sale applicants.
Am I the only one who finds that quite ridiculous? "As this was the smallest price band in terms of ticket numbers" More like because it's the best seats.
Does anyone know if the club get an allocation of club wembley resale tickets nearer the time? A friend of mine who used to be a member reckons that they do provide them later on to the clubs taking part.
Just been sent this by the ticket office 'A provision will be put in place nearer the date for supporters who have purchased at least 2 tickets who cannot get into the stadium. Once we have a rough idea of how many tickets will be remaining we will advertise how you can go about buying tickets and how many.'
OLM, any chance of you finding out how many season ticket holders there are in the south? Also what happens if I email my form asking for the blue area, but they all sell out and I don't get one, will I be automatically relocated in to green or will my application be void and have to go through general sale lottery?
I could ask, but I don't think Ash would have that info to hand and he's getting bombarded at the moment. I would expect that the aim will be to give the season ticket holders the categories they want and the general sale tickets being whatever is left. I'm sure if you go for one category that fills up, they'll give you the next category down.
Doesn't it say to tick the different categories in order of preference and if they don't have any in your fiirst choice they will move to the next one?
If you're applying by form then it doesn't matter what stand you are in. They only sell by stand to people not using the application form after 22/03 submission deadline. I would assume it will be allocated as they process the form and will put you in the next price group down if the ones you request are sold out. You need to see the form really, after 5pm tomorrow. Assume you hold a season pass?
So it does - Although we can guarantee tickets for every Season Card holder that applies, we cannot necessarily guarantee a seat in your chosen price category. Please mark price bands in order of preference as instructed on the form.
I am indeed a season ticket holder, didn't it say something about 35% of each price band being allocated to each of the west and east pass holders and 30% for south pass holders? Hopefully everyone's penny pinching in anticipation of the final, I was right up in the top cornee for the play offs and it was ****e view, needed a telescope. I actually watched the game via the screen.
Yes, could it cope!? I would have thought they would have designed it to cope. If it's the numbers that's the problem can't they split it into a lot of different events? It can't be because it's not the KC stadium seating because they sell tickets to away matches already. I know early in the season I had to email forms but I'm sure later I bought tickets online. I know for Arsenal away a friend got me a ticket via Arsenal Australia supporters club so that wouldn't count to my tickets bought for City! Why can't they at least let non-season ticket holders apply by email? It looks like I'll be more interested in Club Wembley!
Well it does, but I'll hazard a guess that in most cases, applicants using the online form will get what they want. The whole process is designed to keep the ticket office free of people queuing. That obviously isn't going to happen, but even filling out the form and going to the stadium should be avoided if possible. I realise some people will have technical issues or not have the tech to do it all from the sofa. Our group has a potential problem that we have people who will want to be together at Wembley, but are in different stands at the KC, but I reckon we should be ok if we email the forms back.
I was trying to get the best seats at the play-off final but every time I selected a block I got a message saying they'd sold out! so I panicked and just selected any block. I ended up in the back row in the corner but I thought it was still a good view - maybe it was the occassion!
