I suggest that the latest pictures on the official site answer your question as the girderwork extends towards the Vicarage Road stand.

So it does- cheers Aberdeen. It does still seem to leave that short bit of terrace along from the corner. Being optimistic, and assuming it is built on a firmer base than further along that side, that could one day be covered as a continuation of the away seating.

Today there was a large crane on Occupation Road lifting concrete slabs into place above the dressing room area. I guess these will be where people will walk along a concourse behind the seating. Progress is taking place but the site is very restricted for storage of materials, all far from ideal if you want a quick build.

Good- answers my question about how far along the stand would reach. It does make aesthetic sense to stretch it the whole length of the pitch.

    Also:
"The additional space at the front of the stand will be used to house disabled supporters, who will enter the ground at the same south-east entrance as those who sit in the Rookery End..."

    Brilliant news for me.

Excellent news I think the stand as a whole will look much better stretched out to cover the length of the pitch. I also think it will look less temporary and more solid ready for our leap up to the premier league (next season of course). Really good news!

This is certainly good news, and despite a new manager it shows the owners are here to say. Why would they invest in this otherwise?

Absolutely great news, we won't be a laughing stock of a ground much longer.

Its brilliant watching it grow by the hour. Mind you, it looks as though the crane driver knocked off soon after lunch!
