I doubt you'd see them from hull or within near vicinity, far too much light pollution.

 

naw you can see if the normally black sky is a shade of green.
I guess most would see it whilst driving in the countryside.

Oh yes.
Living on an island where normal is pishing rain and a howling gale has to have some advantages,and the northern lights are one of them.
Not my photos but some good local ones from the night of the 27th.

 

Why driving? Some of us live out here you know!

 

i doubt many of the boaders who come on here actualy live in the city of hull.
