So no Ramsay, Ozil or Wilshere. Possibly there limited squad will be telling. Or would be if we weren't without Dawson, Chiriches, Dembele, Rose and have doubts over Kaboul (always - can he play Sunday, Thurs, Sunday, unlikely) and Eriksen
The players will be tired coming from a Europa League clash against Benfica in the first-leg, it's good to know that they'll host the opening match so they won't travel back and forth to Portugal. It's quite a relief for them.
I'm not sure I have expressed an opinion. I'm not a big fan, but he is the best we have. I'd rather him than Fryers, Naughton or a pissed off Vertonghen.
your one of the few,i keep getting slaughtered for Backing him,but he was looking good before his injury layoff, and i think he will come good again, although at the moment he hasn't been to good
Rose was excellent at Sunderland but O'hara was excellent at Portsmouth. I don't blame you for backing Rose as Sunderland fans loved the guy. Also doesn't help rose that we have no left winger. Baines isn't a great defender but he looks much better when Pienaar is in front.
Townsend is possibly the most selfish winger around, even Chadli is a better team player but there is no partnership on the left and that makes the full back position more exposed, plus it doesn't help that rose lacks any composure.
Just got in from the benfica match...as soon as the goons score we will be ****ed! We cant keep a clean sheet, so the will score and our heads will drop and we will stop moving and lose the ability to pass to our own players...that is what happened v chelsea and again tonight
As a Spurs fan, I've learned that any upturn is just the prelude to a greater disaster. So how can it be that any downturn will continue indefinitely?
Without Wiltshire, Walnut, and Woezil, Arsenal are going to be very strong. One of the strongest Arsenal sides in recent times is about to play probably the weakest and most disorganised Spurs side I have ever seen. It will be a turkey-shoot, and Sherwoodie will have to get the sack. I'd rather us appoint Hoddle to hold the fort until the end of the season than permit Sherwoodie to continue to ruin the club. Oh, and someone please get a petition together to get rid of Levy.
We are going to need to hire a secret agent to poison arsenals food this weekend, I feel. It's about our only chance!
I'm going to stick my neck out and say Spurs will win! After all, how often has Spurs lost 4 consecutive games?! We are due a win. You heard it here first.
Not sure what this pessimism is based on.. Our recent excellent record at WHL or our general brilliant performances in the big games?
