I know. I just remember someone once posting about City's revenues and assuming an average ticket price of £30 and multiplying that by the capacity. Seems ridiculous but they did.
that's not matchday revenue there's hospitality, food and drink and various other revenues on a match day
Where i work i know 9 passholders and from them four are not going and out of the other five only one would claim his two tickets the others only want one each so i am sure everyone will get a ticket
I didn't say it was. I said they assumed £30 a ticket and multiplied it by capacity to get to a figure. This was one they were assuming in the total match day revenue. Although you do know that food and drink doesn't go to City, don't you? It is franchised out and the money paid for the concession goes to the SMC. Same with Hull FC.
Is that because a lot of them only ha e a season pass so they can see us play the big clubs? That could improve things s some who are they only to watch the other team and sit in silence may have the tickets they don't want going to fans who are there for City. Witness the better atmosphere on Sunday with less home fans than for a league game but more of them getting behind the team.
In that case I'd like to be on the list of those wanting tickets, work and distance conspire to make a season pass a waste of time these days.
i was in the sarf stand for the game, i didn't get hold of a rattler, but i half expected the appearance of please log in to view this image
I didn't realise at first that they had rattlers. When I entered the stadium, I thought ITV were having some technical difficulties from their studio with some buzzing sound (as there was some media guy running backwards and forwards outside the East Stand around 10 mins before ITV went on air.
